Solid Concrete Anchors That Hold Strong
The star head drives easily with good torque and the blue Climaseal coating seems to fight rust well. I used most of the 75-pack without any stripping or breaking. A couple reviews mentioned the threads can be picky in very hard concrete, but they worked fine for my jobs. Overall a reliable pack at a decent price for the quantity. Highly recommend if you need a bunch.

Step-Saving If You Prepare Properly
These Tapcon screws are used to skip the step of drilling a larger hole and inserting a plastic or led plug. There are four challenges:The drilled hole needs to be the accurate size for the screw because you don't have the extra margin that a plastic allows.Similarly, when you drill the hole, you don't want the bit to wander which is often a challenge with concrete. You may want to try drilling a smaller masonry bit starter hole. At minimum, create a divot with a center punch. You need to be careful turning these screws so they don't snap part way through. Try hand turning one to get the feel in the hardness of the concrete before using a drill / driver and definitely before an impact driver. The branded masonry bit for these screws are pricey and last for a limited number of screws -- unless the tip unfortunately chips off sooner. You might want to confirm the size and buy some masonry bits in that size in bulk.

They're Great ๐
I love Tapcons and they haven't changed the quality over the years. We did however break the heads of a couple of them. But to me, that just means they're securing tightly in the brick.

Perfect pack for home use
Quality screws for wood to concrete or cinder block material.

Screws are great included hardware is not
The screws were great the included hardware isnt the best. I wouldnt rely on them to do the entire job
User
Work like they should
Exactly as described. Work well in concrete as long as you properly pre drill a pilot hole. The included bit is pretty much junk like others have said and bought a premium bit at the same time so I wouldn't run into issues. A proper pre-drilled pilot hole is essential in using concrete fasteners as concrete isn't forgiving like wood is. I didn't take any stars off for the drill bit since I know any supplied bit be it a screw bit or drill bit will not be a high quality item, they need to keep costs down if they want to sell this to frugal DIY'ers. Contractors will already have quality bits on hand.

The best screw to fasten anything to concrete
They are screws. If you have never used these before they are great, Iโve used Tapcon screws forever to bolt safes to concrete flooring, these screws were used to bolt a unifit adaptor to the concrete flooring for my Toto Nexus toilet

Works perfectly, easily removable compare to other concrete anchor and stronger than wall plug
I only ever tried CONFAST 3/16" x 1-1/4" Hex Head Concrete Screw before and it broke off when trying to screw into a hole drill by 4mm Makita drill bit. That was a overhead ceiling light I was trying to secure, went back to plastic wall plug. But these shown me what concrete screw is capable of. I was trying to drill thru a piece of wood to concrete and attach a shelf bracket. These screws save of lots of trouble as I simply pre-drill a hole in wood, then drill thru the wood into the concrete behind, follow by attaching the shelf with these tapcon. With wall plug, I would need to drill into the concrete first, attach the wall plug then drill a hole in the wood, follow by PRAYing the holes in the wood and concrete would align perfectly when attaching the shelf! OK, maybe mine was a special case but concrete screw does save me some time, and no wall plug to remove when I no longer want the holes anymore. With concrete screw, just remvoe it and cover the holes with wall putty.

Great product, great price point.
Exactly what I needed. The quality is very good.

Great kit, everything you need to get the job done.
Great product. Fastened into the concrete slab well. Remember to drill your pilot a 1/4" longer than the screw. The drill bit included in the kit worked better than expected and I didn't have to purchause additional drill bits. I received 3 drill bits inside the tub and a t25 drill bit. I didn't use the drill bit as it was short and didn't fit into my powered drill. My only small nik pik would be a handfull of the screwheads didn't for properly and didn't fit the screw bit. But it was probably 2 or 3 out of the 225pcs.
