Does this cooker hood have to be plumbed in?

It just needs to be plugged in. You can use the included 2 Packs of Carbon Filter Kits(KWH-CF03), which I think last around 3 - 6 months each. Or you can attach the included hose to a vent in your kitchen, which is what I did.
