Really good emergency torch and light source for dimly lit areas I’ve had one for some time so I ordered another but the new one had a fault with the cradle which didn’t charge leaving it in power failure mode. I returned the faulty one which was refunded promptly and reordered so everything is ok now.

Works absolutely fine. This was bought to replace a similar unit, that I had for best part of two decades, that was accidentally damaged. This unit gives a really good bright light when activated by movement, is remarkably slim and seems a perfect replacement for the previous unit. Durability - only time will tell. Highly recommended.

I was after a plug in motion activated light for my downstairs hallway as it doesn't have any windows and stumbled across this. I have a young baby so spend a lot of time in the evenings running upstairs to settle him. This light is so handy in that it instantly illuminates the hallway and stairs so I can run up without switching on the lights or tripping in the dark! I also really like that the light instantly illuminates in a power cut for safety and peace of mind! My only critisism is that it's quite a harsh cold light, I'd prefer a warmer light - hence the 4 star review.

Sleek, modern, effective and very responsive. Light is very bright so in the hallway it is very appropriate. It looks very smart and does not stick out as some other models do. Variable lighting at a touch of a button both for static and mobile torch use.

I bought a similar light last year but the sensor stopped working. So decided to buy this product which was slightly more expensive. Gives a good light in power cuts and when set to come on as you approach it. I now have 2 of these in the hallway and bedroom. Good quality and the light is bright white.

OK to buy this if you are prepared to replace it every 18 months - mine has just died. Worked fine until it didn’t.

Saw these in a holiday let . Bought them ae soon as we got home. Great lights for landings etc , especially for older people , that's me . We have one at the top of the stairs on the landing an one downstairs in the hall way . Makes any movement in the night very safe . The light is detachable so in the event of a power cut there is none of this "where are the candles , have we got any matches . They say the detachable light will last 100 hours on full charge . Very pleased with them , an absolute must for these days and a boon for older folk .
