I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how much I use this salad spinner. It’s great for lettuce, but I’ve found myself reaching for it to wash and dry beans, corn, cauliflower, and other vegetables too. It does an excellent job removing excess water, which helps veggies roast better and keeps salads from getting watery.The 5-quart size is perfect for making family-sized portions, and the spin mechanism is smooth and easy to use. I also like the stop button, which makes it simple to control without waiting for it to slow down on its own. Cleanup is quick, and it has held up well with regular use. If you’re looking for a versatile kitchen tool that does more than just spin salad, this one is definitely worth having.

I bought this salad spinner for my daughter-in-law, my husband bought me the same one a few years ago and I love it. It is sturdy as it has a rubber that is on the bottom so it sticks to surfaces and the handle that spins the inner cage is too, it also has a stopper so you can stop the spinning action quickly if you need to. The water drains out of the top without having to remove the top so you can give it another spin if you need . The design makes it possible to keep one hand on the top of the bowl while the other hand spins the cage the top is held on my a very securely with a clasp. The clear plastic bowl that comes with it is strong. The inner cage that the veggies sit on inside the bowl is easy to insert and remove for easy handling and washing. Make sure it says Cuisinart, there are other brands that look just like it, so be careful when ordering. I bought the larger size so you can wash a half a head of lettuce at one time. My daughter-in-law said she uses it for other veggies and fruit as well. I'm going to buy another one for my daughter too.

This salad spinner works great. Easy to use. Holds plenty. The reason for 4 stars is that it is made of hard plastic. If you drop it, it will probably break. My old one that I had for years was made of soft plastic, but the mechanism finally wore out. Pretty much impossible to replace that one.So, if you’re careful with it, this one is excellent.

I never write a terrible review but I had to on this. It’s not good at all. First; it’s cumbersome to align the colander with the spinning top. Not impossible, just awkward. Next; the spinner mechanism slips and the gears grind if it’s turned to forcefully. Finally, the bowl is fragile. I’ve never put it in the dish washer. Had it for three weeks (ish). Just today I had it mostly full of water when I took it by the side to drain it out and the very thin plastic side of the bowl cracked.It is flimsy, poorly engineered and not durable at all.

It’s small, cute and mighty. I use it regularly to wash clean and dry mints and Italian basil I grow. I love it.

Does what a salad spinner does.It is sturdy, easy to use, and easy to clean.I like the clamps, so I dont have to hold the lid on. Also the spouse , i just put it in the sink and spin itwould recommend.
