This is almost exactly the same as my two previous harmonicas but the tone is clearer
I have carefully compared this harmonica with the two I previously owned. They are practically identical--one German, one made in the USA, and this--and the sound is almost the same, but the square inlet apertures on this new one are very slightly larger, and it seems the tones are a little clearer. A little fuzziness and vibrato is part of a harmonica's sound, but John Lennon had a different and more direct delivery than Bob Dylan, and his tones tended to be clearer and sounded more open. I think John Lennon would like this harmonica better than my other ones. Of course we'll never know on account of he's dead, but I intend to mount this new one in my holder, and make it my go-to practice unit. This seems like a very nice harmonica to me. I'm hardly a pro, but I have played them since I was three years old, and when I was born, Joseph Stalin was still drinking vodka!

Sounds great for the price
My truck radio died in 1980, and so I picked up a harmonica to entertain myself on long trips. There were many long trips, so I learned to play quite a few tunes, none of them all that well. I've never had a lesson or used a harmonica note book. I only play by ear. At that time, I used a moderately priced brand name harmonica. A hundred years later, I can still play! And while I might like to think a more expensive harmonica would improve my tunes, this one is plenty good enough for road trips, sing-a-longs with the dog, and for folk songs and easy rock around the campfire. This harmonica feels sturdy and solid. Perfect for beginners and students like me.
