I’m 5’5, 245 pounds. I have strong, larger legs and thighs. I regularly stand long periods of time and workout: both lifting and cardio. Knee pain has always been an issue: pain when walking, lifting, floor to standing, driving long periods etc. I wear in and outside of the gym. Works for longer hours and many different scenarios. Doesn’t compress too hard that you feel it’s cutting off circulation. Also doesn’t cut into thigh area: I truly believe it was created for big bodies. It is sturdy, holds the knee in place, doesn’t slip, not too hot, doesn’t irritate skin, works for lifting, walking, going from seated (or floor) to upright and vice versa. Go with your size or one size up. Do not size down. This will not CURE your pain. Take care of yourself and the main problems BUT this is a great support.

I tore the meniscus in my right knee over a decade ago and at that time I chose not to have knee surgery as there was no proof that it would radically improve things, and everyone I knew who had done it has regretted it. Because of the long healing and the changes to my gait, my knee became a bit "wobbly" and my doctor suggested trying a knee brace before visiting a specialist. I found this one on Amazon and after reading the company's information and reading the detailed reviews I picked it to try. It worked as advertised and I'm delighted with my choice, and I even got a second one as a backup! I find that you need to adjust it just right to get it to the place where it provides good support, yet allows bending the knee without binding. It takes a while to get it right, just follow the instructions and keep at it. For me, I have to first align the knee hole just a bit off center from my kneecap, and then attach that middle strap just slightly above center. Then the top strap goes right across and keeps it just snug enough, and, most importantly, the lower strap has to curl up as it goes around the bottom of the kneecap, and this eliminates the wobbly feeling. If it is too tight, then it binds when you bend the knee when sitting down or when sitting crosslegged. My only concern is that it seems like it could be a little better with a few minor fabric adjustments. Not being able to attach the strap over the kneecap hole is sometimes a problem as the strap has stretched out over the past year. The hole is a good thing, but maybe some fabric on top would help by providing more area to attach the strap? I don't think filling the hole would be good, but something just on the outer surface that only provides more area to attach on. Also, the two outer straps *always* get attached to each other, so maybe the ends of the top of the straps could be covered with a material that doesn't allow attaching to each other? Every morning when I take it down to wear it, no matter how careful I am, they stick together and I have pull them apart and it can cause the brace to slide around with only the middle strap attached at that point. If they didn't do this the process would be faster and the number of adjustments would be fewer. I think. I haven't tried modifying it myself. These are minor things and just slightly annoying. I don't regret the purchases and am a delighted customer who gives the product five stars! Good work!

This is the first of this type of equipment I have ever tried so that influences my opinions. Even though I ordered per the size chart, the first one I received was too large. They were quick to help me find a better size and sent it to me ASAP, for free. Although the smaller one fits better and stays in place, the Velcro now touches my skin a bit so I have to wear it over my clothes. It’s not a huge issue, but something to note if you’re looking to wear it against your skin. It’s pretty comfortable overall I am just not sure it is working for me as well as I want it to. It definitely provides support and has improved my knee pain caused by high impact workouts, but it hasn’t completely alleviated it. (Which obviously might not be entirely the device’s fault.) I think for the price and experience with customer service it is worth trying this brand.

When I fell on my knees, HARD, I just laid there for 5 minutes afraid to move because I was certain I had broken one or both of them. I mean I slammed down onto the hard concrete. When I got up, yea, I was in pain but nothing was broken, thank goodness. I could walk, it felt more like Inwas sore from falling rather than being in actual pain. Next day my knees were back blue & purple, it hurt a little if I knelt but otherwise I was still ok.. 2 weeks later, I knelt down to play with my dog and OMG myeft knee felt like it got hit with a sledgehammer! I couldn't get up! After that, I couldn't move my knee without screaming. Went to the Dr, diagnosed Chondromalacia Patellae blah blah blah.... Fast FWD to finding the right brace. Between the medical grade one and the 4 OTC but Dr approved braces, this one is perfect. It supports without digging into my skin It fits wider, fuller legs I can wear it against bare skin and it doesn't pinch or feel uncomfortable It has the side support but not with those bulky metal things that are covered with material that are on most of the others I tried. It doesn't cover more of my knee and leg that it needs to or that others do It's super secure And most importantly, after about 1 week I feel like I am actually healing. I ordered other braces on here and sent them back. This is the one for me and I think it will be for anyone who wants a comfortable brace that actually works

This brace, while we'll constructed, is the same width at top and bottom. It doesn't work well for a large upper thigh.

I had a titled knee cap and needed support for walking. It was easy to use and fit well. I still had plenty of space for thicker thigh. My physical therapist and doc agreed it gave great support and helped for a speedy recovery! I wore it daily for 7 weeks and still wear it on long walks and it’s still in great condition.

I measured around my knee and it was an 18 and top part of thigh is a 28, so I got the size 2, it was a perfect fit even had some extra room.. it gave me some stability and even relieved so much of the pain I was having.. it was very easy to put on with just 3 straps.. I would definitely recommend this for the fluffy friendly people like myself.. stayed on and didn't have any slipping for me.. It was very comfortable too..

Having tried a few knee supports, this is the best one. I was concerned about the straps at the back,irritating my skin but it doesn’t. So pleased with this product.
