I tore the meniscus in my right knee over a decade ago and at that time I chose not to have knee surgery as there was no proof that it would radically improve things, and everyone I knew who had done it has regretted it. Because of the long healing and the changes to my gait, my knee became a bit "wobbly" and my doctor suggested trying a knee brace before visiting a specialist. I found this one on Amazon and after reading the company's information and reading the detailed reviews I picked it to try. It worked as advertised and I'm delighted with my choice, and I even got a second one as a backup! I find that you need to adjust it just right to get it to the place where it provides good support, yet allows bending the knee without binding. It takes a while to get it right, just follow the instructions and keep at it. For me, I have to first align the knee hole just a bit off center from my kneecap, and then attach that middle strap just slightly above center. Then the top strap goes right across and keeps it just snug enough, and, most importantly, the lower strap has to curl up as it goes around the bottom of the kneecap, and this eliminates the wobbly feeling. If it is too tight, then it binds when you bend the knee when sitting down or when sitting crosslegged. My only concern is that it seems like it could be a little better with a few minor fabric adjustments. Not being able to attach the strap over the kneecap hole is sometimes a problem as the strap has stretched out over the past year. The hole is a good thing, but maybe some fabric on top would help by providing more area to attach the strap? I don't think filling the hole would be good, but something just on the outer surface that only provides more area to attach on. Also, the two outer straps *always* get attached to each other, so maybe the ends of the top of the straps could be covered with a material that doesn't allow attaching to each other? Every morning when I take it down to wear it, no matter how careful I am, they stick together and I have pull them apart and it can cause the brace to slide around with only the middle strap attached at that point. If they didn't do this the process would be faster and the number of adjustments would be fewer. I think. I haven't tried modifying it myself. These are minor things and just slightly annoying. I don't regret the purchases and am a delighted customer who gives the product five stars! Good work!

Wow. I never thought I would find a knee brace to fit my chubby legs. I was wrong. Who knew such things came in Plus sizes. I was so concerned that after measuring as instructed I not only bought the size I needed but another one size bigger. I can climb stairs again without fear of the knee going out. And it stays in place! I can’t say enough good things about it.

I've been using this for a few days now. First, the downside: It's incredibly hot and I sweat terribly under this brace. I also have doubts about the long term durability - I suspect the fabric isn't going to hold up with repeated opening and closing of the hook and loop attachments - but I bought it for short term use after a minor injury, so this isn't a primary concern of mine. Third, it tends to slide down. Positives: I have fat thighs and normal sized lower legs and this brace FITS! I love that it opens completely with none of the pull-up-your-leg nonsense of certain other brace styles. The material feels comfortable on my skin (although it is very hot) and it flexes well with movement, like climbing stairs. I would call it a medium level of support. Overall, I am satisfied and I would recommend this product, especially if you need a flexible fit or have thicker legs.

They took a couple wears for me to get the fit and adjustment right, but once I figured out how they fit best on my knees and they started to mold to my body a bit, they fit great. In fact, hese fit better than any brace I've ever tried. I'm a short girl with an athletic build and rather thick legs. Use the size chart! I know it's hard, but a little honesty here will serve you well. BECAUSE: these are life-changing! I won't go into all my skeletal issues. Let's just say I have many. One of the biggest structural challenges is my tendency to hyperextend my knees. Severely. This leads to all kinds of issues: groin pulls, plantar fasciitis, and the reason I got these braces, patellar tendonitis. If you have any of those, these could be great for you. They have changed my posture and balance and I notice keep my knees in the 'normal' slightly bent position even while at rest. I never noticed until it was gone how much discomfort my default 'banana-kneed' alignment was causing. I just practiced the martial arts form I'm working on for the first time with these braces and started to find the 'root' and balance I usually lack. My normally weak and slightly twisted ankles seemed more stable and didn't seem to 'turn' as much. Overall, my whole body seemed better aligned. I need to emphasize here that none of these were reasons I bought the braces. These are the unexpected extra benefits!! I did purchase these to address tendonitis. They offer fantastic stability and support. My knees feel better the day after a good workout rather than worse. I'm able to jump, kick, lunge, squat, do all the things I normally do and have recently found difficult. We all age and knees don't do well with that. I believe these will give me the continued support my body needs to keep moving. I highly recommend these knee braces.

I bought two for both knees. I use daily and the Velcro straps start to not hold well after a while.

I have knee pain but my knee is very large. Not only did it fit but it is reversible and can be used on either one. Fits under my clothes too.

So i sprained my knee and was using an ace wrap and I am a bigger girl I weigh 250 so bought this pluz size wrap bc the ace wrap was so hard to keep in place and this knee brace is very sterdy very easy to use and so much more comfortable! Very happy with this!

Braces are sturdy but do not cut into my leg. I use mine and I have several, everyday!
