Absolutely fantastic I don't get the negative reviews it's great quality easy to build light tube is easy to install and works fine holds up well when finished yes It is annoying that bits fall off while building but worth it in the end.

Where to start the excitement was high but after 2 days am ready to bin it ! The section I call the engine area with the clear tubing is a nightmare it pulls itself apart every time you have to add it to the chameleon or add another out of sinc step the stupid sausage shaped brick you have to add to this area is far too ridged and just breaks the already weakly connected areas apart and the clear tubing keeps getting in the way as it's not flexible enough (even tried heating it so it bends better with little success) when you finally get it all together the light brick inside doesn't work 😡 because again the poorly designed engine section is in the way of the switch and if you touch it the whole section needs rebuilding along with the rest because everything just starts popping apart the stand it's supposed to stand on is fimlsy no real study anchor points to support such a heavy build it actually gave me anxiety letting go and the the tail falls off would I recommend hmm to someone I don't like maybe would I buy again absolutely not !! Lesson learnt stick to actual lego !!

Genuinely the worst brick set we have ever had. Wife bought it as she mistook it for lego, however lego it is not! This is poorly designed, frustrating to build, the parts do not fit together well and when they do, they fall apart. Utterly ridiculous and impossible to build. Do not waste your money on this rubbish!

My son in law just loves Lego. I purchased this for him for Christmas as a gift. He loves it. Package arrived on time in great shape and for a fraction of the cost to buy it at Walmart.

This is a JMBricklayer original set, similar in concept to the Jaki mechanical Dinosaur with half of the model being mechanical and the other half biological.Comes in a full color printed box co-branded JMBricklayer and TopToy. The box contains5 regular bags3 bags of pearlescent chameleon body parts1 bag of silver chromed parts1 bag with light brick, light parts and stickersPrinted manualBrick separatorBrick quality is excellent and on par with the big brand. I appreciate that the body and chromed parts were packaged separately to avoid scratches and is one of several added touches that make this set stand out. Clutch is good and parts go together without having to apply extra force. The printed parts are clear and vibrant and the stickers are also high quality and adhere well.The set is recommended on the box for 14+ (oddly the manual says 15+) and I agree that this is primarily for older builders who have some experience with complicated sets as there are a couple of tricky areas.There are a couple items I think that could take this set from great to amazing.1) Pad print all the pieces rather than half printed and half stickers. The stickers supplied are excellent quality but there is one that is applied to a curved circular part that just doesn’t lay flat because of the curve and detracts from the rest of the set. I tried to correct it by removing and reapplying and managed to tear it. I ultimately decided to go without that sticker.2) The light pipe assembly needs some work to stabilize it. This has already been noted and JMBricklayer has a post with detailed instructions on their website under BLOG/TIPS3) the chameleon attaches to the base with one pin and is not as stable as it could be. If it could be redeveloped to have at least two mounting pins or at the very least mount centrally rather than the offset leg it would help tremendously.None of these suggestions detract from the quality and detail of this set and I would heartily recommend it to anyone who likes the theme.

What can I say, I love Chameleon's! I love the mechanical/robot side of the model, which is why I purchased it and am very happy. The other side not so much, but is against the wall so I don't care. Agree with some of the other comments that I have seen, Chameleon onto base (not strong enough) attachment, I attached mine direct to the (clear) tree stump (Chameleon arm) and did not use the last bit of the tree. Also, what is with the handle? on the back of the Chameleon? Took that off and dumped it, looks much better. However, my big gripe is with the packaging, I know that GMB have compressed packaging, however, someone STUFFED my instruction book in the book which was bent and hard to flatten out (very disappointed) there was room in the box to lye it flat. Also, would not mind the spikes on the back being a little bigger (and green) Also GMB don't follow Lego, throw the stickers out!!!! Not needed at all and a waste of time and a big GRIPE with LEGO users worldwide, Overall, still a 4/5
