Pleasantly surprised
I was ready for throwing my alarm out of the window. It was so bright it lit up the whole room, even on the lowest light setting. Bought this, thought I'll try it !! Fantastic piece of kit, does exactly what it says, no bright light, can still see the time easily if I wake in the night even without my glasses on. It's easy to apply. Well worth the money. Highly recommend

Does the job - BUT
I purchased this for use on a very bright digital alarm clock. The product itself works okay, adheres to a clean surface and does dim the clock display, only time (no pun intended) will test it's durability. However, it is very expensive for two rather small pieces of plastic, was very badly packed by Amazon resulting in an angular crease that took a while to remove. The factory packing was even worse with one of the sheets stuck to the plastic packaging.

Excellent product
This does exactly what it says. We now have two bedside clocks that can be seen in the middle of the night without casting a bright light into the room. I did see one review stating that the adhesive was dry and must have been old stock - Please ignore that review. This product is a 'cling' type film and relies on being applied to a clean surface. It is easily re-positioned if you get it slightly out of line.

Only one sheet was useable
The first sheet out of the packet works well and really dims the very bright lights on my alarm clock. The second unfortunately was stuck to the packet and now won't stick to anything! It was a lot of money for one useable sheet.

Really good
Order these for the baby monitor as the screen is super bright even on its lowest setting an the brightness has been disturbing my sleep. I used a piece of paper to get a template of size than cut the dim it sheet it’s easy to cut to size and apply, I read some reviews about it not sticking etc but it does stick statically really well to the monitor just make sure you clean an dry what ever your applying it to first and then rub over it once applied with a towel or dry cloth.as you can see by the photo I peeled the corner away so you could see the difference in brightness it has made such a difference

a bit of thin plastic
The impression given by these is that they will adhere to any led or display to block out light.I didn't get that far with testing these as they have no adhesive, they are simply a film that clings by static. This rendered them completely useless for the intended purpose of blocking leds on a phone charger. They may serve on a digital clock display... but on any other device these are pretty useless as they will simply fall off...Avoid.

Works great
I bought two digital clocks for bedroom and whilst I loved them, they were far too bright at night time. This product worked brilliantly. It totally dampened down glaring light.

It works well, but, it is not a cheap option.
As I was not able to dim a screen sufficiently, I found it necessary to add two layers. It works well, but, as titled, it is not a cheap option. This is not a comparison test.

Perfect dimming of LED
I used this to dim an LED propane indicator and a Hot water tank LED touchscreen. Worked perfect. No more glaring bright light.... A+ I'm glad the touchscreen was not effected, still works with the dim cover on it.

Perfection
A perfect solution to a problem I wish I didn't have.My alarm clock croaked recently, and I had to buy a new one. I wasn't prepared for the brightness of the LED display of the new alarm clock though! It was as if a mothership was ready to land next to my bed!Ridiculous. After several attempts to dim the light somehow, I gave up, and ordered these.Clearly I'm not the only one going through this, judging from the reviews of this product.Strips can be cut to any size/shape and no adhesive is needed.Static makes it cling to the surface and is just the right amount of dimness. No more blinding light disrupting my sleep.During daylight, numbers are still visible.I just wish I didn't have to spend $14 + to make a $19 clock functionable.Plus, I only needed a very small piece, but have another 3 full sheet of the film and no use for it.I guess, small price to pay for a restful sleep.

Light Dims work well but very expensive.
Light Dims are not stickers - they only attach to smooth surfaces using "static cling." If you want to block out lights on other displays or objects that aren't smooth, get electrical tape. Light Dims work as expected, they dim the displays on my alarm clock, modem/router, and the panel on my microwave, and yet the displays are still readable. I never realized how much these small lights assault our eyes, I am very glad I bought Light Dims before the price rose so dramatically. 12 dollars was a bit overpriced but 30 dollars is ridiculous. I would not recommend Light Dims for that price, even though they work.

Easy to use and work well enough
These are super easy to use and work well enough. I have found that for lights that are pretty bright, you'll need to layer it. I had to put about 3 layers on the led indicator I was trying to dim before it was a reasonable brightness for nighttime. Could just be that the indicator light I was trying to dim was extra bright though. It works like cling film which is great because it doesn't leave a mess on or alter the device you're using it on. It comes with one smaller size sheet and you just cut it to the size(s) you need and just lay it down on top. I pressed mine down a little to get it to stick better but it's pretty secure for being cling film style.
