It took a little trick to crack open my laptop, but installing the Crucial 16GB, 260-pin SODIMM was super easy. After the installation, my laptop became much more powerful. Good quality and compatibility.

Great company, great product, great results
Popped right in and worked exactly as needed and described. No laptop should ever be sold with 4GB of Ram - this made that laptop zip right along - Great product

Works with Synology DS423+
I bought this to improve upon the laughable 2gb of ram built into the synology DS423+ and it seems to be working great! I had to look at the instructions on how to insert it because I've never used a NAS or this type of ram stick but it was super easy once I looked it up. I can't speak to performance since I didn't use the NAS before installing this, but it shows up and hasn't had any issues in the month or so I've been using it. Would definitely recommend for the DS423+ for a fraction of the price of the Synology branded ram.

After investigating a good set of options to expand iMac 2019 (27'') memory, I end up going for 2x16gb Crucial. I bought both individually, not as a set which end-up much more affordable. I added 2x16gb side-by-side the original 2x4gb (Slot 1+3 -> added Crucial 16gb, slot 2 + 4 - Apple original 4gb memory). 40gb is enough to experience better performance, later the plan is to replace the apple 8gb with 2x more 16gb.

Works very well in my Synology DS1520+. Can replace the existing 4GB module and bring up the total with the fixed internal Ram to 20GB.

Works great. Instantly recognized as 16gig and performance has improved. I removed my 8 gig ram and used this standalone as i read in several places that it's better to use the same configuration or use standalone

First of all I did not install this on my own hired a laptop repair person however observed that the install was quick I did the research and installed the Cruxial Device scan tool , this was one of the RAMs suggested in the list and during the Amazon Deal Days this was also at the lowest price. The improvement in Boot Time, in lauch of MS Office or lauch of website ect is tangibly fast U have also added a Crucial P5 NVME and swapped the HDD with a WD Green SATA The NVME was also the in the list suggested by the Crucial Device Scan And I had the SSD for about three month now The laptop upgraded was Lenovo 330s 14iKB i3 7th Gen processor It had a 4GB 2166 Samsung Ram and 500 GB Seagate HDD along with Wndow 10 home and MS Office 2016. I also have Dell Inspiron running on i5 11TH gen with 8GB Ram and 250 SDD. After the upflgrade the Lenovo is discernable faster that the more powerful Dell. This is the really as good evidence as any with the Total Investement of about 15K in the 3 hardware pieces to a base price of 38K. I hope the info is helpfull
