Good, light paddle that’s easy on your arm and elbow
Super light and nice feel to them when you’re playing. For anyone with any kind of arm or elbow issues this is a good one because it’s so light.

Great starter paddle
If you are brand new to pickleball - these are great starter paddles. You will outgrow them quickly if you continue playing, but it’s a decent paddle until you look for the next $100+ paddle

Step up your game.
I originally started playing pickleball with a wooden paddle. Wooden paddles are nice but they are heavy, and when you start to get better in the game you need to be able to swing the paddle quicker, and this is the answer to the problem. The paddle is lightweight and I get good control with the ball. The grip is very comfortable and will stay firm with sweaty hands. The quality of the build is nice, I haven't had any issues after over 10 hours of using it. I saw my game improve a lot over the next few sessions using my paddle. Now that I have it, I know that my equipment is no longer going to hold me back, and I'm able to focus on improving how I play. The light weight also helps out with playing close to the net, since you're more agile with your paddle placement. If I had to pick one negative from it though, it'd be that the handle is a little short. I have larger hands and would like a little more reach with my paddle.

Great beginner/low intermediate paddle
Great beginner/low intermediate paddle. Large sweet spot, consistent shots and durable. I used it when I started out, until I upgraded. The only thing I didn't like is it felt under powered. A couple of lead would have helped with that, but my brother in law upgraded his paddle so he gave me his old one ( 10 months old...he is hardcore).

Great improvement over first three paddles
I'm a rapidly progressing intermediate player. I'd already bought and progressed three other composite paddles. I was getting good results, but after I played a pick-up game with someone using this paddle, I was intrigued with how effortless his strokes were and how much power he got on the ball. So I bought it on the hope I could benefit. I know that sometimes improvements are all in your head like a placebo effect. But I've now played dozens of times with this paddle and can attest to its bigger sweet spot, balanced feel, balance between power and control. I love it. I let others in my regular group play with it and two of them bought it as well. I can't say how this compares to racquets in the $150+ range. But I can say it is well worth spending the money on this racquet versus the many racquets in the $50 range or the 2 for 1 deals in the $50 range.

Nice paddle
I got good power from this paddle. And it makes a loud crack when you get a solid hit. Which kids intimidates your appointment .

My new fave racquet!
I just finished playing with the Z5 Graphite for the first time. I'm a 4.0-4.5 and had been playing Wilson Energy series. No more! Onyx Z5 => Tremendous combination of power and control. I get terrific spin on serve, returns and even dinks - I am able to pull people off the court with sidespin on my kitchen dinks in a way that I couldn't with the Wilson. Real pop on drives from the baseline and we were playing in 40 deg. The grip is forgiving, a little narrower than the Wilson so I feel like I have more control over the racquet. Highly recommend! This racquet is good both for beginners AND advanced players.

Très bon choix
J'adore cette raquette. Le poids, le rapport qualité prix sont parfaits. Pour joueurs récréatifs.

Weight & grip
The 4+ reviews on this paddle are justified. My wife has fallen in love with this paddle & remarks on its low weight & comfortable handle. Looks like I may have to buy another one for myself😂

You won’t regret buying this paddle !
I studied Pickle Ball pallets and read many reviews on different models/brands. I wanted to spend less but decided to spend a few more $ based on the reviews I read. Until buying the Z5 I was borrowing paddles from other players and being new to the sport I really couldn’t tell a good paddle from one that is not as good. I’ve been using the Z5 for a month now and have also received some valuable training so my game has improved significantly. The more I use the Z5 the more I like it and I’m finding that my confidence is growing every game with improved accuracy, control and power. I believe the Z5 is a big part of my game improvement.

Very happy with this paddle
I am very happy with the paddle after using it as a pickleball beginner for a few games. Nice weight and feel - handle is a very good fit. The somewhat textured surface provides great spin and control. So far, completely happy with this purchase. Great price for beginner or intermediate players.
