The Flip Professional Hot & Cold Smoker Box, Revolutionary Design

I just bought a pellet grill and I bought this smoke box to add smoke. I put three charcoal briquettes across the bottom and when they are hot from using a tumbleweed, I put small chunks of wood over the coals. I read that this gives good quality smoke because the charcoal gets so hot. I was surprised how much smoke came out of that small box.

I love to cook out on my pellet smoker/grill and if you like the REAL smoke taste get you one of these Flip Smoker Boxes. The Cameron Flip Box is easy to use and you can place your favorite pellets/wood chunks (small) into the box and light it up. It will provide the great smoke taste if you use your fancy pellet grill or if you prefer use it on your propane grill to add that wood flavor to what ever you are cooking. The Flip can also be used to cold smoke your favorite foods. The box is made of quality material and is sturdy. If you own a pellet grill this is a must have to add to the smoke taste to your food. Highly recommend the Cameron Flip

It does a good job for it's size. Just wish that it was a little bit bigger. Product worked a design.

This is worth the money! I have been smoking for over 10 years. Recently I started using a large pellet smoker. I have struggled to get smoke flavor into my meat. I used this for the first time with some wood chunks and it worked fabulously. I highly recommend!

Used this to make smoked spatchcock chicken. Didn't put the lid on ALL the way down as I knew metal SWELLS up when it gets hot. Well, that backfired on me. The lid STILL didn't come off so I could refill it. When you are doing a LONG smoking (I was doing a 3 hour session for this chicken) you do need to refill your smoke chips. The lid does NOT budge until it is completely cooled down. Ended up using a pin tin for the rest of this cook.Note: I had HALF my chips soaked & half dry......I wanted a lot of smoke & no flare up. Even doing that & NOT having this smoke box over a burner that was on, it lasted only 30 min and the box was FILLED.IF you are doing a quick grilling and want that smoke flavor, this is perfect! IF how ever you are doing a LOW & SLOW smoked BBQ, this is not the way to go.

This completes my pellet smoker. Much better than the smoking tubes I tried. Gives the closest results to a stick smoker. Excellent smoke flavor.

I bought this mainly for cold smoking my salt cured salmon (gravlax). When you smoke it, it is Nova or simply "cold smoked salmon", but you need to cure it in salt first to remove the fish moisture. Anyway, this product was cheap and easy to turn delicious cured salmon into something even 100x better if that's possible. I use pellets... applewood, cherry, hickory, etc. Find some that are god quality and experiment till you see what you love the most. Getting it started takes about 5 minutes and I use a couple of those all-natural no-gas tumbleweeds on one end (lit underneath the smoker box). Once the box has started and is lit without assistance, I add the fish above on a rack in an enclosed grill type setup. If you know how to use this product right, you can get about the best cold smoking results out there.

I used it one time & had to throw it away. All of spot welds broke loose and the (bent) legs came off. I wish I hadn’t wasted $34.

Parfait pour ajouter de la fumée au BBQ.

I have other smoker boxes that work good, but this one allows for so much reversibility. It has more volume than other boxes which allows you to put about 3 bricks of charcoal in it, light them and add the wood chips on top. You can also use it with or without the stand so you can use the BBQ flame to ignite it. I put an aluminum pie plate under it and ignite with fire starters, the plate keeps all the ashes from dropping into the bottom of your grill. Overall a great product for the price, if I found this first I would not buy any others.

Was bought as a Christmas gift for my dad. So I'm not sure how it is

Super pour fumage à froid

Hard to keep burning. I had hoped to use this in my pellet grill with a chunk of charcoal and a couple of wood chunks but unfortunately the charcoal keeps going out with the lid on and with the lid off I get full flames. Kinda pointless and expensive for what works out to be a smoke tube.
