There are only 2 of us and once I open a 16 oz package of bacon just to cook a few slices for breakfast, I would use a zip lock bag to keep the remaining fresh. However, once I would go back for more bacon, it was questionable as to whether it was safe to eat and I would just have to toss in the trash. I then began making the entire package when opened and would store the remaining cooked bacon in a zip lock bag which did seem to keep it fresher, but a lot of the strips would break into pieces. I saw these containers and loved the size which is perfect for a pound of raw thick sliced to store until wanting to use some. I still cook more than needed at one time because we like bacon on other sandwiches as well, so I store the raw in one container and the cooked in another. These containers can be used for many items but it is nice that the length is perfect to keep the raw meat fresher without squishing it into a shorter storage bin. Highly recommend. Oh yes, VERY easy to clean with just soap and water.

Container is NOT stainless steel, it is hard plastic. The container arrived damaged. The lid was cracked and the corner was broken off. Seller would not replaced and only offered a partial refund. Don’t buy. Major rip off!

After years of putting opened packages of bacon into single-use plastic bags (and dealing with lots of grease when opening/closing), I thought to myself, “there has to be a better way”. None of my Tupperware containers were quite the right size for full length strips of bacon but a quick Amazon search for “bacon container” led me straight to this, and I quickly ordered it. The container would easily fit a full package of bacon (the attached picture contains 2/3 a package) and the lid fits snuggly with a good seal. The lid is easy to open when it’s time to make more and it seems to keep the bacon fresh for at least a week. The material of the container and lid was easy to clean. The quality seems good and I’m excited for no more greasy bags!

This container is 100% plastic. Contacted the seller and received no response, despite giving them a long time to respond. If I had wanted plastic, I could have purchased plastic for less.

A must have for bacon lover. Our house always eat bacons and this is a must have! It keeps the bacon fresh for longer time. I love it.
