These are really easy to use for a custom size window screen, keep in mind that you have to install this on the outside frame of the window but it is cheap and easy to do so it was worth the buy

I'm telling you I have tried every screen out there and this is the best one!!! So easy to put on, fits just as described and super lightweight and flexible. My dog plows through everything so once I saw these magnetic ones for such a good price I thought what do I have to lose? And they work just for what I need! My girl gets so excited when she sees a cat or raccoon out there she rips and destroys everything. Not only has she not ripped these at all, by leaving the secure corner snaps off, when she starts to go bananas digging at the screen it just pops off the edge, and when she feels like coming back in it goes right back together! 🤣🤣🤣 I've had them for about 2 months now and they keep bugs out and not a rip to be seen. Finally a screen that can survive Wendy😂😂

I have purchased a few of these and only one has had to be replaced. They were easy to install all by myself . I installed the 72*48 on three of my windows. One of the sets was noticeably different than the others from purchase (the plastic strip was not as white as the other 3 purchased). They were all installed on the same day. About 2 months after installation the plastic on the one that had a creamish colour started to crack and the adhesive at the top failed so the entire thing fell of the window. I replaced it with the same brand and I am happy I did. I have had no issues otherwise. I remove top layer with the mesh to wash my windows and put them back without any issues and this does not seem to affect the adhesive. I even bought a extra one for my grill at my door. I installed it using just the upper magnetic strip, the plastic and the mesh. Works great!

I managed to get it installed in about an hour, it was easy enough to figure out using the instruction paper and video shown in the product listing above. I measured my window before choosing the size and the materials had just enough length to make it work. I definitely didn’t do the best job on the corners but it’ll do the job. We’ll see if it holds up (especially with a cat), so far it seems like a cheap solution to be able to open my window safely!

It solved a very specific problem perfectly! The vent on our HVAC door allowed insects to get into my son's basement bedroom. This custom screen now covers it, gap-free!

Really difficult to get right. Did 3 windows. They all look ok at best. If the old frames are not destroyed or bent just remove the rubber install Spring and replace the mesh. Cheaper. Easier. Faster and looks much better. The is is a pain in the 💩

We are staying long term in an Airbnb and one of the windows is missing a screen. I looked for an adjustable screen I could place in the window, but couldn't find anything tall enough. This screen kit did the job perfectly! As others noted, it can be tough pressing the plastic seal in with the window mesh. I found it helped immensely to precut the right length of seal and apply by lifting the magnetic tape off and pressing on both sides (so you're applying pressure from the front and back) and then let the magnetic snap back to place as you finish sealing. I liked that it didn't require any special tools, just a tape measure (if you precut instead of cutting as you apply to the window) and scissors. It's currently on the exterior of the window with the sun beating down on it and so far no adhesion issues, but it's only been a couple weeks so not sure how this will stay up long term.

This is a great product my only criticism is that the red magnetic tape pulls off the sticky part with it when 1st picked back but at least there is enough so you can just cut that top piece off.

This is a fabulous product. Easy straightforward way of adding a screen to a window without having one custom-made. Instructions were easy to follow and if done well it looks professional. Love the idea that I can put on a screen on my windows in a rental unit.

First time bothering to write a review because I'm so happy!! Thought I was either destined for a stuffy room or a room filled with mosquitos this summer. Not anymore! Simple to install with provided instructions and good amount of material in kit. Fyi, for people with my style of window- simple enough to peel off to open and close window.

Easy to fit. And does keep the midges out.

5-YEAR EDIT: I've had the same screens up for 5 years, and the screen and magnets are still going strong (besides the magnet strip adhesive that needed to be re-glued, as mentioned below), but within the last couple years the white plastic strip portion has started to crack and break into pieces where the screen is repeatedly bent. It's still functional and I have enough plastic stripping left over that I'm gonna replace the cracking portions (the parts I don't repeatedly bend are still fine) but something to be aware of for the long term. EDIT: I've had these screens up for over a year now, and they've worked great! However the adhesive for the magnet strip did start to weaken/fail along the top of one window and along the corners where the screen is frequently pulled back after a number of months. This was easily fixed with some glue, but I've knocked off 1 star since I think it should hold up to basic use like that. I live in an old apartment with shallow, single-pane windows without screens. We literally had duct-taped a screen into place in the living room just so we could open the window and not let bugs in or have the cats jump out of it. I ordered this for my room and it came quickly and worked out great! It looks really nice, the corner pieces have a little dish-shaped "hook" that's easy to grab to peel back the screen when you need to open and close the window, the magnets snap together really well, and the flexibility of the mesh means it can accommodate my window's slightly bulky latch when the window's closed. I can sleep with my window open at night and not have to worry about mosquitoes, I am so happy. Assembly: - Took me over an hour - I found the instructions easy to follow - The materials are pretty forgiving when you make mistakes - My window frame is very narrow, so I was worried the magnetic strip might be too wide but it's only about 11 millimeters wide - The magnetic and plastic strips can be cut with a halfway decent pair of scissors, you don't need anything fancy or super strong, the plastic strip is the toughest to cut - The screen material is easily sliced with a box cutter/Exacto knife, so cutting away excess is really easy - Getting the plastic strip to snap into place over the magnetic strip can be difficult, the suggestion to bend the plastic strip and roll it onto the magnetic strip works really well, just make sure you aren't accidentally sliding the plastic strip away from the corner slightly when you do this - Getting the corner pieces to snap into place over the plastic strip is also really hard! Getting the inner edge of the corner pieces in place first, then snapping the outer edge into place worked the best for me, you can use a pair of pliers to make this easier. - The screen comes with 2 wind clips that are easily to pull the adhesive off by mistake because the clips have one piece of adhesive used on both of them. Peel away the protective film from the outer edge of the wind clips then cut the adhesive in the middle between the 2 clips. If you try to pull it off from the middle where the 2 clips are joined you'll rip the adhesive off of both clips (I did this :( my fault for being careless) My one worry is that this screen is not meant to be a barrier against bigger, stronger critters. The mesh is really easy to cut, so my cats would shred it to pieces or just Kool-Aid Man their way right on through if they really wanted to. I'm not taking a star off for this because I expected this. This screen is meant to be flexible, not solid. This is built for bugs and bugs only and it works perfectly for that so I can't really fault it for not also containing kitties. If you have pets and need a screen that can stand up to your cat/dog/whichever, I'd suggest looking for something else with a stronger screen material and a sturdier frame. Or you can get this and find something to create a barrier to stop your pets from getting to the screen. I ordered another of these to replace the duct-taped screen in the living room and got some bars to stop my cats from pushing/leaning against the screen so they won't tumble out the window. Also the frame is meant to be flexible, which is really nice for smaller windows but larger windows make the frame feel really wobbly and flimsy. I'm quite happy with it on my room's window (which is about 33 inches tall by 23 inches wide) but my living room window is about 45 inches tall and the frame feels pretty noodley in the height when I peel the screen back too much.
