Radio FM reception good due to it's Dsp chip no Rf interference. SW reception good we can hear many stations from all over the world , i listened China Tamil Radio in morning time with some noise , need some antenna wire setup improve the quality. AM reception okay. Radio build quality good . Sound quality very good crystal clear but no Bass . We can use it with power without battery but you must buy USB to 3.5mm dc power cable. I have bought USB to 3.5mm dc power cable for Rs.70 in local shop and using it with Mobile charger . Overall good FM radio just using two days . Hope It will long last working. While DC cable plugged in Battery mode not work we must remove the dc cable to use it in battery mode

The radio is nice, has a good build quality, looks of the radio are also good. FM Reception is strong, if you use it on a heighted place the reception is even better. MW and SW reception is not that good, if you provide additional antenna then MW, SW reception will improve. Sound quality is good, max volume is very loud despite small size of speaker. Size is compact, easy to keep in pocket. Overall it is a good purchase.

By far the best ever compact radio that i have purchased in the recent years. I already own D-808, R-108 but this is outstanding and surpassed in performance, despite it is cheaper than others but don’t underestimate it’s performance based on the price. Excellent receptivity, sound clarity and compactness, looks good, feels good in hands. Battery Life: I listen to this radio 2 hrs everyday and i use Alkaline batteries which lasted more than a month. I can access FM channels from 180 KM far from the stations. AM clarity is the best among the rest. Though this radio is excellent in FM and AM, but the sweet thing about this radio is SW, you can access every SW channels across the world and this little guy is capable enough to receive them, you just have to know the timings. I daily listen to US radio channel in SW 1170 kHZ at 6 AM In my opinion this is outperforms every other radio out there at this price point. This can even bought for collectibles as well. भाई इसकी प्राइस बहुत ज्यादा है और सबसे बड़ी बात यह कि इसमें चार्जिंग वाली बैटरी की व्यवस्था नहीं है भाई आज के जमाने में बैटरी लगाने वाला रेडियो कौन खरीदता है और वह भी इतना महंगा हजार रुपए के ऊपर का सामान या तो इसकी कीमत कम कर दें या तो इसमें चार्जिंग वाली बैटरी की व्यवस्था करें मतलब रेडियो को चार्ज करके बजाओ ना कि उसमें बैटरी खरीद खरीद के लगाओ

The XHDATA D-219 is a good DSP radio. It easily picks up lots of AM, FM, and SW stations, with very clean sound on both FM and AM. I use a single 1 mm, 12 ft wire with an alligator clip as an external antenna for SW, and it works fine for me.
