Cawston ginger is made from natural juices and sparkling water with no added sugar or sweeteners, and has loads of flavour unlike many other brands that advertise no additives. An excellent swap out for the unhealthy sugary pop that I wanted to remove from my diet.

I loved the sound of the pineapple and grapefruit flavour as I always buy fresh juice in these flavours but I didn’t want to pay £20. I saw they were on offer so bought them although at £16 that is still more than I’d normally pay but because Cawston Press drinks are such good quality I thought I’d risk it. They are ok, drinkable, but there is something in the flavour I can’t quite put my finger on but it’s not to my taste. It’s like a ‘flowery’ hint I keep getting. I’m sure lots of people will love it, it’s just not for me. I love the Apple flavour and the Rhubarb flavour, these are always in my fridge. The Elderflower Lemonade was ok but I wouldn’t buy it again.Edit - I’ve changed my score from 3 stars to 4 stars because I think the first can I had was dodgy. I tried another and it was really nice. That weird flowery taste wasn’t present. My third can was nice too so there must have just been a problem with that one can. It’s still not my favourite but I would buy them again as long as they were on offer. No way would I pay full price.

I love these drinks - they make my wife happy! I don't care for rhubarb and have it only now and then. As a drink, I find the idea even more bizarre although at least you can get the taste without the stringiness of the actual plant. But she has always loved the stuff and so I decided to buy a couple of dozen cans to see how she liked it.The delivery took a while. It might be nice to speculate that this was the case because it is so popular that it sells out quickly, and that the fresh rhubarb they claim is used, that it takes a while for stock to become available - I really don't know. The order was on the books for a couple of weeks before it shipped, and a previous order was cancelled when it missed a deadline too. It may be the nature of the product, or just an inventory glitch, who knows?But what's it actually like?! Well, my wife loves the stuff, her opinion being that it is especially refreshing from the fridge and that the combination of apple and rhubarb flavours is great. If anything the drink is a bit apple-heavy when you first take a sip, and the rhubarb elements come along after the zing of the apple fades, making it quite a satisfying thing to drink. Even I liked it although, with it being her ladyship's thing, I will not work my way through her stock! So, we both like the idea that there are two flavours working together here, although it was a bit of a surprise to see the apple element being so up-front to begin with. The drink certainly seems to be the genuine article as opposed to some concoction from a laboratory somewhere that never saw either apple or rhubarb, merely a bunch of E-numbers with added fizz. This is much better. 100% of my rhubarb-loving wives preferred it.

I really enjoyed some of their other drinks, so was really looking forward to trying this lilt type of flavour. I'm especially happy that they don't use SWEETENERS!!! (😤😡🤮) it could be just a little sweeter but that's not the real problem. It's the Grapefruit, it cuts through everything and is extremely bitter and harsh completely ruins it and the pineapple has gone walkies. It's non existent, I think it needs a reformulation as you can't drink it stand-alone and you most certainly can't use it as a mixer. (If only I'd sipped from the can before mixing in my nice rum!!!) You'll thank me later for that. I really don't think anyone can recommend this for the price and especially due to that bitter Grapefruit. Think I'll buy some syrups and try to replicate this lilt type flavour!!!

Love the fact that the drink has no added sugar, but it really doesn't taste very gingery to me.

Great flavour, and nice and fizzy, ordered on Amazon as you can’t always find these in the supermarket
