Not Sensory Friendly
Weird that this item is advertised as sensory friendly. It has a tag, which, right off the bat, tends to bother kids with sensory issues. It also has seams that you can feel. My kid put them on, said they don't feel good, and took them off immediately. I had to get him to wear them inside out to be willing to wear them. I was hoping these would be tagless, seamless, and buttery soft given how they are advertised. They are relatively soft and they are made of a good thick material. Good quality undies if you are looking for something sturdy. But if you're looking for sensory friendly I'd try elsewhere. Also quite pricey for kids undies. Would be worth $10 a pair if they were tagless, seamless, and buttery soft true sensory friendly undies.

Sensory friendly! Soft, sturdy, durable undies from a small family-owned company, and great customer service.
My son has worn the boys briefs (and now boys boxers) in size 2T, 3T, 4, and 5. They are worth every penny. They are made with thick, soft fabric, that stays sturdy after many, many, many washes. The elastic at waist and legs is thick, and lays flat, not too stretchy or too tight. It doesn't begin to unravel with rubbery threads coming out like pretty much any other undies I've ever tried (adult or child). The thread is soft and the seams lay flat without rubbing. My son is not SPD but does have lots of skin sensitivities, and is very particular about what he wears. I have similar skin sensitivities as he does, and just love how these undies feel in my hands. They don't ride up on his bum, but stay down fully under his butt cheeks. After maybe 100 washes, there is some color fading and some very mild pilling of the fabric. All so mild that I'm sure they will last another 100 washes when my second son gets to use the ones his older brother outgrew. The fabric has as nice stretch to it, so that one size seems to fit for at least two years of growth. I have purchased them in each size, but could probably get away with purchasing them in every-other size instead. The fabric arch where it looks like a pee-hole would be, is fake. The undies are stitched closed on the inside, so that there is no real hole. I've purchased at least 12-15 undies in each size, and quality has been consistent among them. I finally had one issue where a pack of size 4T was the tiniest bit smaller than all of the size 3T my son had. I missed the Amazon return deadline, so I called the company, and was able to speak to the owner (how often does that happen anymore?!). He was very friendly, and offered to replace the undies with a better size. These are an extremely high-quality and durable item, which it seems hard to come by in this day and age. So much clothing seems to be made to be thrown out within a year or less. These are definitely the type of item that you know is made to last. I could only be happier with these if they made them for mommies heheheeh!

Runs small after wash & dry
My son just turned 6 years old and size 10 is the perfect size for him. Before the wash, the underwear looked really big. After a wash & dry, the underwear shrunk and it fits loose, but not by too much. It will allow him to wear it for 1.5 years. Now I can only hope that it won't shrink any further. If I bought size 8, it would be the perfect size for 4 months, and then I would have to spend another $60 for 9 underwear. The cotton material is really soft and smooth. As for the tag, I chose to leave it there as I am afraid that it might irritate my son if I cut it off. I thought about buying Fruit of the Loom or Hanes, but I decided to splurge and get 9 of these instead. I bought Jockey briefs first, but it ran small and I didn't like the tag on the stretchy area and a 2nd tag near the bottom. My son's previous underwear from Disney were just acceptable, and Carter's underwear were good.Is it worth it to buy made in USA vs. made in China even if it cost 3 times as much? Like all things, maybe. China does make great things, but US corporations always opt to choose the cheapest materials for their customers. So it leaves it up to the customer to judge whether made in China clothes are good enough. The problem buying online is that it has to be shipped to us first. Buying retail actually is a bigger issue than buying online as they don't carry much selection and much sizes. Until Target & Macy's increase kid's clothes selection significantly, I will continue to buy kid's clothes online.

Underwear He Actually Wears!
My son is on the Autism spectrum and potty training has been difficult. Finding the right underwear has been a task. We spent a good amount of money buying underwear for him that he would just not wear. I saw the reviews for City Threads Briefs and a lot of moms said they were very soft and sensory-friendly, so I decided to buy ONE 3-pack to try out. Of COURSE my son absolutely loves them! They're super super super soft, and such great quality! Once we knew he would actually wear them, I purchased 3 more 3-packs. They are definitely a bit pricey, but they WILL hold up. I typically wash all of my clothes in tepid water and always dry on low heat as to avoid shrinking. They have held up to numerous washings so far! I definitely recommend these briefs for children with sensory issues. There are no tags, and nothing that will "dig in" to sensitive skin.

They shrink about it sides after washing
My son is 5 years old and weights 50lbs. I got him size 8. They looked big but once I washed them, they were perfect. They will shrink a lot. They are good quality but I wouldn’t pay over 20 for a pack of 3.

Soft and comfortable but sizing is small
My son is big for his age and is starting to outgrow his 3T/4T potty training underwear, but he really likes the fit. They are the kind with a little padding in the front. These City Thread ones are similar in cut/style (but without padding) so I bought them in a 6 due to the reviews that they run small. The size 6 in City Threads is most similar to the 3T Nickelodeon (Paw Patrol) underwear. My son says these are very comfortable and he likes them a lot, so we will keep them even though he'll outgrow them soon, and then buy the next size up. Hope this helps someone else when choosing size. For reference he is 45" tall and weight 42lbs.

Excellent undies for my 10 year old
We are used to purchasing him Anderson underwear and I went for these hoping they would be similar. They are even better! Softer and hold up longer. Very pleased and will get more
