Our closets do not have lights in them. This is bright enough to where it saves me the time of wiring lights into the closets! The motion detection is amazing and works perfect. It’s bright and you can set it to be dim or bright. Great buy. 5 star!

The light in my closet went out and till I got someone to come and fix it, I ordered this light. It runs on four double D batteries and a motion activated. I was amazed at how much light it gave off plus when I kept the door open to my closet where I put it. It actually came on when it was just laying on top of a coffee maker. if you need a closet light, I would definitely recommend this one. It is great.

I purchased this light for the inside of my shed. Since the there is no electrical service to my shed, a battery powered motion sensing was going to fit the bill.This was an inexpensive option. The motion sensing is sensitive enough (in the location on the ceiling) to light up as soon as I walk into the shed. The LED light throws the perfect amount of light to all 4 corners of my shed. It just took 4 screws to mount the light on the ceiling (5 minute installation).The light with the four D size batteries installed is quite heavy. So make sure when mounting it to a wall or ceiling, it is secure enough to handle that weight. The jury is still out on how long those batteries will last through the heat and cold of the four seasons.Overall, I am quite pleased with the performance. The real test will be reliability in the long term.Pros:Hands free operation.Sensitive motion detection.Perfect amount of light for the space.Easy to install.Price.Cons:Using (4) D size batteries.Weight with those (4) D size batteries installed.Not sure how long the batteries will last in the heat and cold of the shed.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for!!! A BRIGHT light, with a high color temperature for my basement stairway. They put out a lot of light, I'd say 50% more than the rated 300 lumens. Or at least, it sure seems that way.I also like that it uses four "D" cells. I didn't trace the circuit, but I'd wager that since bright white LED's typically have a forward voltage of 2.9 volts, they are running them in series-parallel. What that means is that the batteries ought to last one hell of a long time!This is the kind of product that even Chinese mass production can't really screw up. If they work when you first install them, you're probably good as gold with this one. The plastic shell assembly is pretty well designed, and installation is a breeze. They supply drywall anchors, but the unit is pretty light, so simply affixing them to a closet ceiling with four drywall screws should be acceptable.I'll definitely reorder these if I have another need.
