It's sturdy.
It's an hard plastic structure that looks like wood. It works fine. Really like the suction cups on the legs. And the comb is heavy duty. The gel holder wrist band stays in place.

Must have for DIY braids
I recently used this braiding rack along with the comb set and braid gel wristband to do my own braids for the first time, and it made the process so much easier!
