1 Gallon Large Fermentation Jars, 4.3" Wide Mouth Glass Jar, 2 Pack

I used these as a clean and dirty water tank for a Montessori kitchen. The hole in the top is perfect for the pump hose to fit down into. I have to leave the dirty water lid off but we have a funnel attached to that jar to collect the dirty water from the sink. They both fit under the sink cabinet. Worked well for my purposes. Best and cheapest option I could find.

Durability and versatility for the size is exactly what I needed for proper fermenting, very pleased!

Excellent value. The jars are made from strong, clear glass, and the accessories are surprisingly good for the price point. I’m using them for small‑batch meads, and the seals have stayed tight with no issues at all.

Better than I thought

i got these to make my own wine in. the size is perfect for a fewish bottles, the seal is strong, the large lid opening makes it very easy to take ingredients in and out when needed. the glass seems thick and sturdy and i love that it has measurements on the jar.

Beautiful, sturdy wide mouth jars. They arrived extremely well packaged, so everything was as it should be despite any mishandling by the carrier. I’ve been using empty Carlo Rossi wine jugs for the secondary fermentation of homemade wines, and while they work, they are difficult to clean with their narrow neck. These two wide-mouthed beauties will be very easy to clean and sterilize, and come with three airlocks, a great deal. They also came with cute little chalkboard signs and a chalk marker, so I might actually remember whether it’s cherry mint or jalapeño wine fermenting away inside. ;) Love them, would buy more if needed.

Yes, this is an excellent product. I bought 2 and constantly have something in the works. The airlocks work great. The wide mouth is perfect for my big hands; makes it easy to clean. It has both metric and imperial numbers embossed in the glass so it won't wash away in time. The size is nice for big batches of whatever you like. Although, it can be quite heavy once it's full, which is not a problem for many but my elderly mother could barely lift it. So far I've made sauerkraut, pickled beets, cabbage, fermented hot sauce and kimchi. I am going to purchase 2 more because when I start making cinnamon mead, it will tie them up and need at least one or two for other projects. Definitely worth the money, get it.

Wow! This is a shockingly good value in my opinion (and actually on sale for even cheaper than I initially purchased for). I bought these for wine making and for 1-gallon jugs they are quite nice for the price. The glass is perhaps a little on the thinner side but not so much so that I’m concerned. For the price you get 2 1-Gallon jugs with lid, 3 airlocks, 2 replacement lid seals, 2 replacement airlock port seals, 2 chalk board labels, and even a chalk marker! I can’t see getting a better value than this! I’m extremely pleased with this purchase.
