It has both. Fur and red thing like a bird. I only use the fur one. Just a recommendation. I would spend a little more and buy the 500. You can download sounds. I love mine but which it had a few different calls

Yes, remote operates the decoy and the call. You can play 2 calls at the same time if you'd like as well as activate and deactivate the decoy function.
