Love this. The folding handle is great for storage. The setting is easy to use and very repeatable if you need to change it for a different brew method or different beans. Love that it isn’t black as most are. The quality of the grind is very good and consistent.

This is an aesthetically attractive designed coffee mill as well as a functional one. It is a quality mechanism for hand grinding your morning "Cuppa," and it works pretty easily. The handle is designed to pull out straight from the body of the grinder where it is held in place by a steel sleeve that clicks into place to keep it from collapsing during use. The mill will only grind enough for a standard cup of coffee, so if you like larger portions or stronger brew, you will have to process a 2nd batch of beans. The grind can be adjusted from coarse to fine by a dial procedure as explained by the included printed directions. There is also a velour drawstring bag for travel storage, or you can keep the mill in its compact box with custom fitted foam padding. Cleaning is straightforward, by disassembling the body of the grinder and using the included brush to sweep out the grounds and then blowing out any remaining dust or grounds with an air blower. The instructions caution against using water or other cleaning liquids... I presume, in order to prevent corrosion. Grinding is a simple process of manually turning the handle to process the roasted beans through the grinding mechanism. (Again, instructions caution against processing herbs, spices, or other foods in this mill.) This yields a robust cup of delicious coffee. A bonus for me is how pretty this little machine is. (I got the green one, as shown in my photo.) I have several coffee mills now, and I confess that I'm tempted to start collecting them and displaying them on a shelf in my kitchen. I also want to purchase another one of these as a gift for a friend of mine who lives by her morning cup of Espresso. She'd be truly delighted with this little grinder!

I actually have a TIMEMORE Chestnut C3 PRO Manual Coffee Grinder at our vacation home, which has been working great since last year. So I was genuinely interested in this model called C3’S’ PRO from TIMEMORE, with an addition of S . The first thing I noticed is that this model comes with a folding handle, making it a definitely more preferable option for travel due to its convenient portability than C3 PRO, which you need to take the handle apart to store it in its pocket. While I'm not a regular coffee drinker and wouldn't carry a coffee grinder around with me for any type of trip, the rest of my family are quite the coffee enthusiasts, so this folding handle is quite a useful feature for them for sure. When tested, its high-quality conical burr, made from steel, grinds coffee beans evenly just like the C3 Pro grinder, while the stepless grind adjustment offers precise control over the grind size you want to achieve. The capacity also seems quite similar, as it can grind enough coffee for a couple of people at once (1~3 cups at a time). I think this one is priced slightly higher, probably due to its portability from the folding handle design. I'm glad I requested this because it would be a great portable option for coffee enthusiasts like my family who have been using the C3 Pro model. I'm satisfied with this new model (more or so for my family of course), and the green color is quite unique since all the other grinders I've tried have been black so far!

What?? A hundred dollars for a simple coffee grinder? Well, if you really really like to drink your coffee, and prefer to buy top quality and exotic beans, you will get your money's worth. Why? I'll start with the packaging. This Timemore coffee grinder arrived superbly and carefully packaged in an attractive and keepsake quality box. The light green color, described as "chestnut," is stunning. This is not a kitchen tool you want to hide in a back corner or shelf. It is a work of art. The instructions provided are impeccable: clear and complete. It is simple to assemble and disassemble the grinder for cleaning, and a small brush is included. One drawback is that the chamber for the beans is small, holding only a couple of tablespoons. But if you're like me, someone who prefers to grind your coffee just before brewing it, then that's not a bad thing. You can adjust the grinder to accommodate your taste: coarse or fine or in between. And grinding is effortless, with a large but easy to grip handle and smooth gears. This coffee grinder should last for years and could even be a nice heirloom for the next generation of coffee aficionados.

This is my second manual coffee grinder. I've had one for about a year that I keep set for a French press coarse grind. After getting a new espresso machine, I didn't want to have to switch the grind settings back and forth between coarse and fine (for espresso) so I just got a second grinder. Now that I'm able to compare the two. I like this one even better than the first. - The ability to fold the handle is a plus, as that allows it to take up less space in the coffee area on my counter. - This one is a bit bigger than the other, and the space where the grinds collect is much larger. If I don't want to have to grind every single day, it is quite easy to fill up the grinder to the top and grind three day's worth of espresso all at once, and the bottom cup is a convenient way to keep the pre-ground coffee air-tight and fresh.

I do like the bright green color! This grinder is bigger than I thought it would be but its holds 2 tablespoons of beans. Manually grinding does take some elbow grease. Fresher beans would probably grind easier. The beans I have a getting a bit old so grinding them with this is hard. It would be easier with an electric grinder but I only need one serving of coffee. Plus using less electricity and getting in a tiny bit of physical activity is probably more beneficial in the long run. It helps make the coffee taste better knowing the work I put into it! The texture on the part you hold onto is all metal as you can imagine. It can hurt when the beans are difficult to grind. There is a rubbery pad on the bottom to help keep it from slipping which is nice. The grinds a pretty consistent. I had to read the instructions to figure out how to set the grind settings. You have to twist it till you can twist it anymore to get to the starting point. The instructions tells you how many clicks it take for certain coarseness. I wish this was easier! I'll have to save the booklet as there's no way to know that on the grinder itself. This grinder came in a nice box and includes a drawstring bag and a cleaning brush. I don't know if the bag will be of any use. I do like that the handle can be folded but this handle can easily unfold itself thanks to gravity. If you hold the grinder on its side the weight of the knob you hold to grind will fall and thus make it unfold so be careful! Overall I'm not sure if this is worth $99. It is nicely made but I will have to see how long it'll last me compare to a cheaper manual grinder I have.

I got this for my son, who is a total coffee nerd. It is heavy and has a conical burr. He prefers flat burrs, but as a travel grinder this strikes me (a mechanical engineer) as better built and more robust than the Hario Skelton which is his usual travel go-to. The conical burr shaft is *extremely* well supported, so it is very unlikely to flex during use which will really help the uniformity of the grind. The collector cup is also robust and, at about 42mm internal diameter will fit over most common portafilters nicely. The grind size adjustment is easy (with the top and handle in place!) and indexed so it's not difficult to know where you are. Espresso grind *looks* fine enough, but I don't have the quality espresso machine to really test it. The device is very stable on a table with the handle folded down (see video). It is a lot less stable with the handle in the grind position. If he doesn't like it for coffee, it will be the best pepper grinder he will ever own!
