Game Changer if you're a Caretaker
I wish I had known about JubileeTV sooner - this has reduced my stress SO much in the last three weeks. I (40 year female) am the sole caretaker of my 75 year old mother who has vascular dementia. She's never been great with technology, and the TV, now with dementia it's 100x worse. Well, with JubileeTV, I can now leave my mother alone without having to send someone over to "fix the tv..." I can put up reminders for her to "eat..." "let the dogs out..." "take her pills..." I can do drop-in camera visits if she's not answering her phone. I can set alerts to let me know when she turns on the TV... I'm going out of town this weekend and the help only has to come HALF the time because I can now remotely change the channel for her from my phone. After thoroughly researching, I bit the bullet, paid the $200, bought a new Roku stick (because you need this for it to work - I tried the other Rokus, Amazon Firesticks, etc I had laying around the house, but I didn't know which Roku remote went to which Roku box or Roku TV - because apparently the Roku BOX remotes won't work with the Roku TVs and vice versa, was much easier to just buy a new one for $40). After one small hiccup - I had to call customer service - a super nice guy (onshore) walked me through resetting my "smart box." Shortly after that, things were up and running. I can't rave about this product enough; I tell everyone with an elderly parent about it. I've been searching for a solution for the last two years, and this is it!

Totally Awesome !!!
Our father got to the point, in which he could not control his tv anymore. Believe me, it was impossible. He was confused even with voice commands. He is in assisted living, and we kept asking the staff to turn on his tv, change the channels, and turn off tv. It was a HUGE problem continuously calling the assistant living staff. We were so stressed, since we wanted dad to have the ability to watch TV.I found this product (JubileeTV) and thought it was worth a shot. This device has literally changed our life. Yes, it changed our stress level and it seemed like a miracle to us. Just so awesome. Was it worth $100? Absolutely YES.First, it was packaged extremely well. I look at how things are packaged, it tells me a lot.Second, the actual device is made of steel, not some cheap plastic. It’s nice and heavy and it’s well thought out. Where you plug in cables, it is well labeled.Third, it has all the cables you need. You don’t need to purchase any other cables. The cables are high quality too. Cables are individually packaged too.Fourth, we asked for a virtual phone call for the initial setup. Shaquille was our assistant and he was extremely professional and walked us through all the steps which were needed. We did not have any issues…the setup was well thought out. If we did have a question during the setup, Shaquille knew every answer. It was obvious he had done this hundreds of time. I would highly recommend using their free tech support during your setup. It will stream line your setup.Fifth, the TV controls in their app were so, so, so great AND so easy to use. We setup dad’s favorite channels, so the family can turn on his tv and turn to his favorite channels in literally 10 seconds. We can even see what is playing on his tv through the app. We setup up a “reminder” to have his TV automatically turned on at 9am to ESPN!! You can do that for your favorite shows. You want to watch Andy Griffith at 4pm, just setup a “reminder” and it will do it for you automatically. Just so awesome.Sixth, we setup the video camera so we can visit dad through their video camera. Dad will see our faces on his TV. He can hear us and he can talk with us. He does not need to do anything if we want to do a virtual meeting with him. That’s done through the app and us.There are other great features I’m sure we will explore later. Photos and video can be sent through the app, so he can view your photos and your video. Dad will kept in the loop on family functions. The app is well designed and easy to use. But if you are not sure, call their tech support. You can insert a ROKU device and control it too. Thats an option we will be investigating next. We have not set that up yet.One thing I also liked, their tech support number was on the remote control and easy to find within the app. It was NOT buried 12 levels down and hard to find. There is a monthly fee or a yearly fee. But you also get support 7 days a week!! For our family, this fee is well worth it. There is nothing worse than a product that has no support. They are located in the United States. If you have a parent or family member who can’t control their tv, and you need the ability to control their tv, this is the miracle you’ve waited for. In addition, there many other features you will find helpful. We wish we had found this product two years ago. Believe me this product is so great and helpful. Very Close to a perfect product.

ASTOUNDED! DID EXACTLY AS CLAIMED. EASY! I’m
EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS!Ideal for both full dementia/medical patients as well as those who require some or no help. Easily selected options allow you to dial in whats required of them—all the way down to nothing.I was shocked this is not on TV!Absolutely love it…as do all the other family members around the country. They have a no risk 30 day service trial. Tie that to the hardware return policy here and you get a month to check it out and play with it.See YouTube for short videos on festures. Search JUBILEE TVDelivered on every feature! Simple set up-REALLY simple. Customer service was polite, knowledgeable and thorough. My 91 yr old Mom with moderate dementia loves it! She’s started watching shows she’s loved. We can now put her on shows she loves and even watch them with her at home. Video calls require absolutely no action on her part (there are options that do). We just appear on her screen and say Hi! We can drop in unnoticed to check on her. We know when she leaves and enters room. We set up photo and video slide shows that come up automatically like a screen saver. Ive actively spread the word to other patient’s families and assisted living residents.

Install is impossible. No Support
Update: Jubilee would not take the product back. After canceling my membership my son was able to set it up under a new membership (No discount for my membership depite the fact thay I could not set up)It took my tech experienced son over four hours to get this product up and running. THERE IS NO WAY A SENIOR CAN DO THIS-- if they need this product. I don't know how it will work going forward-- I don't hold out much hope.I“I bought this product for my mom, but I was concerned she wouldn’t be able to set it up on her own, so I requested a call from a tech support person. When the tech called, they couldn’t speak English well, and there was a lot of noise in the background—completely unhelpful. After that, they scheduled an in-home installation, but after multiple appointment changes, no one ever showed up. I wasted an entire morning waiting. When I called support, they promised a call back within the hour, but I never received one.I have no idea if this product works because I couldn’t get it installed. I’m canceling my membership and buying my mom a Roku TV instead.”
