Worked great for my turf soccer pitch!
I was considering a manual walk-behind sweeper before I got this, and boy am I glad I got the clean sweep. This is a small section of turf, 20ft x 30ft, infilled with sand (not rubber pellets). It’s directly under a huge Coastal Live Oak tree, here in California. The pitch is constantly covered in the small but curved and pointy Live Oak leaves, small twigs, branches, acorns and acorn hats, pollen. This thing does a great job. It’s not perfect, but for my application, definitely the best option out there. Usually only takes a single pass and viola! It’s nearly pristine. I run mine on the second-from-top height setting, and it has I believe 2 more lower settings than that. It’s so effective at picking everything up, that I have to empty the bag every couple passes, which is fine for me! I believe the review about debris falling back out may be due to not emptying the bag, or using too low of a setting. I have seen this issue when I forget to empty the bag. I was worried at the price point that it may be overkill for our small 600sq.ft. Space, but it’s perfect. It takes about 30mins but is so effective, I don’t need to do it very often. I’m not sure how it would handle things like big maple leafs, pine needles, or rubber pellets. The unit is mostly plastic, so I don’t recommend storing the unit in sunlight. I bought a cheap, tiny $100 metal shed from Overstock.com or something. It should be noted that the brushes do not extend the full with of the wheels. They are not inset. It also can’t sweep about 1” in from each side of the housing. So if you have turf directly up to a wall, there will be about a 3” untouched section. For my soccer pitch, there’s a border of dirt at least 6” around 2 of the 4 sides, so I simply do another pass with the wheels in the dirt. The unit is also a bit loud. I keep a cheap pair of earmuffs on the handlebar. Also this is a corded unit, which is needed to get the power required, so a slight annoyance. If your turf area is like mine, and have similar needs, I highly recommend the CleanSwerp!

Don't buy this!
I thought using my blower was bad, holy cow! This thing is terrible. Do not buy! First off, it said delivery tomorrow, but it ended up taking two days. Forgivable, but not a great start. Assembly was easy. The motor is really loud. It didnt bother me too much but my 7 year old needed earmuffs to be comfortable around it. The extension cord kept falling out of the plug and turning the machine off. Not a huge deal, I tied a knot in the cord to fix that. I have fairly short turf and then very short turf on my putting green. At the most effective height it would pick up about half of the debris on the first pass. After 2-3 passes about 80% would get picked up. Doesn't get thing in corners, edges or where there are slopes. The absolute worst part is the bag. That thing is unforgivable. Any tiny bump will knock it off, kill the motor, and all the stuff it did manage to pick up will fall all over the ground. I used it one time and it happened atleast 4 times. Lastly, the moment I realized there was no chance I was keeping this thing is when the extension cord got tangled in the sweeper. I was just backing up sort of like a vaccume and in a second that thing got wrapped up probably 25 times around the brush. It took atleast 20 minutes to untangle that mess. Use a blower instead, dont waste your time and money on this thing!

Better than using a leaf blower
Better than using a leaf blower. It's not perfect by any means and doesn't work as perfectly as seen in the videos. But... It is worthwhile and here's why. 1) Using a leaf blower just pushed debris around and it gets caught repeatedly in other areas of the fake grass strands. 2) Once you get a section clean using a leaf blower, you notice that the section you're now working on has blown onto the clean area. 3) Using this lawn brush, it contains the debris into the basket and doesn't fling it out anywhere else. 4) The machine is very light but can be heavier when using if the height adjustment is too low, causing drag. The caveats of using this sweeper (not a deal breaker by any means): 1) You cannot easily get to edges or around obstacles like potted plants or yard furniture. 2) You have to go over the same path 2 to 3 times to get all debris off. 3) Even after trying different depth levels, the sweeper picks up too much sand/filler that is used to weigh down the fake lawn and keep the grass bristles vertical. (Our lawn is brand new so maybe this is due to some areas having too much filler in spots... this is to be determined after some time.) 4) Do not, do not, do NOT... run over the electrical cord. It "will" be eaten up by the rotating brush. If this happens, immediately shut off the machine and carefully unwind the cord from around the brush. When this happens to you, it will only do so once.... You soon become very careful thereafter. 5) This is only for me, not necessarily an issue for all but the unit is large as a push mower. Finding storage for it is problematic. I wish it would fold up easier. Not a big deal but worth mentioning.

will update but as of today this is a great product.
this is a MUST BUY if you have artifical grass that you want to take care of. we paid for upgraded premium AF grass and had bunnies that always get in the yard and california winds that bring in neighbors dead leaves. it picked up everything so great and made my lawn look brand new all over again. super easy to operate. will take more pictures and videos to show how easy it is and i am a small female. the build is super easy and it is light weight, the price is high but for this time it is well worth the cost. will update in may when the fourth roll over is done to see if it brings it back to almost new like videos show. we have two dogs and a pool and it keeps it so nice and got up dog hair i never even knew was burried in the grass.

Works Excellent!
I love this turf sweeper. I almost didn’t get it based on some reviews but reading other reviews I did. I’m so happy with it! It brought our seven year old turf back to life and picked up all the leaves and debris. The power and suction is amazing and the brushes. What I figured out after watching YouTube videos is when using it (unlike a mower) go slower and go backwards over the spot you just did or go in the opposite flow of the turf and it really fluffs it up. I’m glad I purchased it on Amazon Prime Day it is a little pricey and I patiently waited and no regrets as you can see from the pictures we have a huge backyard and a lot of turf. Definitely put glasses on for any debris that may fly in the air and it is quite loud. If you live in an HOA like we do I would recommend you wait until after 9am as not to disturb your neighbors. The motor is very strong and loud as it will pull you forward which I love. That made it so easy. Putting it together less than five minutes. You just have to put the handles on and I bought a 200 ft outdoor electrical cord.

Hard to maneuver if ground is not flat.
Very simple to put it together. Doesn’t maneuver very well. Better suited for a bigger yard than I have. I purchased it for my backyard. Some of it’s on a slant so it makes it harder to use. It will probably work better to clean the turf in the front yard. I live in AZ so we get very little rain and the air carries dirt. Turf has a lot of dust so I was covered by the time I finished. I would recommend it but don’t put it to low or you will pick up the infill along with the debris.

Really not what it is hyped to be...
Really not what it is hyped to be... I have a small, somewhat simple area of turf, which was professional laid. The area has no real undulation or uneven spots to make functioning difficult. I read a number of reviews and watched videos, prior, to make sure that I was not wasting my time. The reviews just don't add up sometimes, the overwhelming number are positive, not sure how that could be. I unboxed and immediately tried out the sweeper. I can tell you that I am not all that big on returning stuff, unless it simply does not work. Well, that was my experience, the brush to holding tray assembly is useless, the tray falls off and the brush seems to break up the leafs and push them under the catch tray. I adjusted the wheel levels to all options, still no success. After many passes I looked back and the turf did not look all that much better than before I started with this $300 sweeper. I really wanted it to work, but it simply did not! I can not recommend this product, you are better off with a manual turf rake, as cumbersome as that is...

Does a poor job collecting debris. OK for fluffing up matted turf.
Does a poor job of picking up debris. Does a nice job of fluffing up matted down artificial turf. Brush system is poorly designed because the brush is totally exposed inside the collection compartment. As a result the exposed brush will grab onto material already collected in the basket, and spit it back out onto the turf. (see photo of exposed brush inside the collection compartment) We have long haired collies and they shed lots of fluffy fur onto our turf. This machine will not deposit that fur into the collection basket; the brush just spits the fur back out onto the turf. The sweeper only collects debris (leaves, etc) into the collection basket when pulling the sweeper backwards, it does not work well when going forward. My Craftsman shop vac does a better job, even if it is more labor intensive. Expensive for the poor job it does collecting debris. If all you need is to fluff up your artificial turf, it might be ok, but not for collecting debris.

Fake lawn sweeper
Just laid quite a big artificial lawn in my back garden as I have a big dog. The dog is always making a mess shredding my Amazon deliveries and the like but I also have a few fruit trees surrounding the fake lawn. As soon as I'd laid it it was covered with leaves fruit and the dogs mess. I bought this sweeper and no lie it's magic! Takes me about 5 - 10 minutes and the lawn is like new again. I do it once a week or when necessary so to stop build up of leaves. It's quite big and it's not very light but it propels it self forward with the powerful brush so it's easy to use. Will leave a small margin where the wheels are so I go over these with a leaf sucker. It's very powerful so I'm cautious about going right up to the edges as it can fray the grass a bit if you're not careful and make sure you don't sweep the cable as I've found out. It sucks it up in an instant and gets tangled in the brush - easily rectified by taking the brush out and uncoiling it... Bottom line. Along with a leaf sucker this is a must have if you have a large artificial lawn! well worth the money also seems robust and well made.

Cheaply made product
The device broke down after the third time it was used. Cheap plastic parts of gear mechanism at fault

Great product
This is like a vacuum for your turf. Doesn’t work with lots of leaves, but is really great for twigs and small things. I typically use my broom to get all the big stuff then use this to do the fine pick up and fluffing of the turf. The bristles do such a good job, it looks like the turf was freshly laid when you’re done. What would have taken many hours to do I can now knock off in about an hour.

Makes grass look great
Works good for what I wanted it for and grass looks really good. The instructions were very vague but it was easy enough to set up. Took a little while to get used to what setting to put it on but once you figure that out it works good. I have a large conifer tree in a neighbours tree that sheds all over my garden and it managed to pick up all the pieces as well as large crunchy leaves off another tree. All in all it works wonders on the grass but it is quite heavy to lift and if you tip it up slightly to get up a step all of the dirt falls out the back onto the floor.
