I was extremely pleasantly surprised. The steel frame feels plenty strong and the finish/coating is nice. Assembly is pretty simple and easy overall and the included mallet and ratcheting allen wrench were a pleasant surprise. phenomenal deal for the price. no seriously, I'd compare this favorable with MUCH more expensive bed frames. I'm not normally one to write reviews but this just exceeded my expectations so much that I felt I had to. Every part of the construction and assembly is great and it feels like attention and care went into all of it. The fact that it will be easy and simple to de-assemble and re-assemble if/when I move is a bonus too. It's pretty stable overall, If you really shake the top there's some movement but it's not a concern for normal stuff like opening and closing curtains - maybe don't do pullups on the canopy (though I have let them support my weight and it's been fine). I bought some cheap rubber things to go under the feet to prevent sliding and it feels very stable now. metal isn't great at keeping a matress from sliding, but this comes with pre-applied tape which fixes that. If you're buying curtains, you'll want either hooks, or back tab style curtains. I was able to get some rod pocket curtains on but it's a hassle and felt like I was going to damage the stitching (the bars at the top connect via angled bits at a 90 degree angle into the posts, which is great for sturdiness, but getting a standard-ish rod pocket curtain over those is tight). Back tab curtains look better anyway IMHO and are easier to open/close (and you can definitely find cheap ones) There's lots of space underneath (all the measurements in the pics seem to be accurate)

My husband and I LOVE our new bed! It seems very sturdy. He’s 240lbs and I’m 150lbs and even when it starts a rockin’ it holds up well. You can use it with or without a box spring which I like. We use our box spring and it looks great and it doesn’t slide around. My husband just gets a kick out of seeing me leap up onto the tall bed like a little kid. I’m 5’4” so it might be hard to get up onto it with the box spring if you’re smaller or have mobility issues. I used 3 sheer curtains along with two strands of the tiny wire curtain lights that have 8 settings and our bed looks fabulous. The instructions were pretty simple to follow once you figure out their rhyme & reason but it did take us a second to decipher. We put it together in less than 30 minutes and we had so much fun doing it! It took me WAY longer to figure out how to DECORATE the canopy than it did to put the bed together. It’s very good quality for the price. I’m even loving the little rubber mallet they give you to tap the pieces into place. I used the mallet to pound in some anchors into the walls and it worked like a charm. Anchors always break in our walls when we use a regular hammer but not with the rubber mallet! It’s an added bonus that I’ll probably use for other things. The box is super heavy so you need two people to carry it but I was happy about that because it meant that the bed would most likely be sturdy. I’m so pleased with the outcome. I was able to purchase our new bed and decorate our canopy with the fabrics and the lighting for about $200 total. My husband loves it too despite him being such a manly man. I think his exact words were “ooh our own private honeymoon suite!” Which was cute since we’ve been married for 26 years. Both of us think it is a great product for the price and it was really fast shipping! We’ll have lots of fun for years to come in our new bed!!!!

Love this bed, it’s perfect for my teenage daughter. It is surprisingly sturdy for the price and was very easy to put together, I assembled myself in 30 minutes. I love that it came with all the tools you need to assemble and it ships in 1 convenient box. Clear easy to read instructions. All around this was a great purchase !

Wow, much better than expected. Well made and easy to assemble. It took me 2hrs by myself and I took my time. They provide a torque wrench which makes assembly much easier than with the Allen wrench (also provided). Instructions are pics and each step is numbered to coincide with numbered pieces. Not very clear at first so review before you start and lay out all pieces in # order. You will see from pics that it comes entirely in one huge and extremely heavy box. So be sure you have help once it’s delivered. Great frame, sturdy and quiet. Customer service was also accommodating.

Easy to assemble, the instructions are easy, you don't need any tools except for what is included. The bed frame is sturdy and looks really nice. The material is good quality.

Great bedframe. I've had it for over a year now, maybe even two years, and its held up very well. A bit of a pain to figure out how it goes together, certainly need two people, however that's to be expected with this style of bedframe. We moved just recently and it came apart and went back together nicely. After this amount of time, we are only just starting to notice it squeaks a bit when you toss and turn but I feel like we just need to tighten the screws once more.

I was honestly skeptical given the price, but this is actually a really high quality product for what you pay. I've had this bed frame for about half a year. It's got excellent height (I am not using a box spring, I just got a tall mattress) and if assembled correctly holds up quite well. It was easy to put together, my little sister and I assembled it with only the tools included in the set, and it took under an hour. As you can see I've paired it with an upholstered standalone bed frame I purchased separately, I simply wedged it between the Zinus frame and my mattress. (this upholstered frame is quite heavy and the ZINUS frame handles the additional weight effortlessly) so I'm very pleased, I get endless compliments and was able to accomplish the look I was going for at half the price of the other frames I'd seen on the market! You won't regret this purchase.

The bed is amazing, very sturdy and exactly like description. Very easy to put together even by yourself. My only issue was the box was damaged but probably from the delivery company. But luckily no damage to the bed other then a little scrape that don’t really even see luckily. I give the bed and company 5 out of 5 star. But the delivery company 3 out of 5 as I could see the bed frame in the box that how big the tear/hole was in the box and a couple other tears also.
