A sturdy, solid rack with no sway and legit capacity.
I live in a city where I'm able to use my e-bike for almost everything where travel is concerned. That said, I'm constantly loading, strapping, taping, roping and sometimes jamming (i know, i know...) items onto my bike. I've gone through several racks which look similar but just didn't last. Most wore out at the connections (inferior alloys) so that the screws became so loose the racks swayed under the load; resulting in cracking or bending which rendered them ineffective for future loads beyond a sandwich. Others just failed due to my own fault as I exceeded the recommended load capacity. All I can say is that when you're on your bike and faced with having to leave a valuable item or opportunity for one behind or try to make it work with what you have... well, you get the idea. The capacity for this rack is, so far, legit. I've had up to 130 lbs. of balanced laundry on it (a sea bag on plywood for stability) with no issues at all, other than having to do laundry in the first place (tmi). Also, no sway or listing which affected my handling. I have a heavy duty rear cage on it now. I'll be mounting removable grocery panniers next. Based on the storage and configuration of this rack, it's very versatile as to what you can mount on it. The size of the deck is about average, with slots for straps and the like. The key here, however, is the capacity to haul heavy loads without sway or list. Lastly, installation was quite easy for me. However, I've been through more than a few rack installations. The instructions aren't too bad, although you have to rely on the illustrations as the engrish is unclear. If you do get this rack, do not tighten the screws all the way until you have it all together. Also, the sliding adjustment for the protective spoke supports (you'll see) will need to have a specific Left/Right symmetry. Otherwise, it's pretty straightforward. oh, and there's a fender and a reflector. I was able to mount my existing rear light with brake sensor in place of the reflector without any modifications (bonus!). This is the best (bike) rack I've had under $75.00 to date.

Excellent Engineering, Mediocre Instructions, Unbalanced Idea
The rack was as shown, correct size, very sturdy and strong. Paper instructions got the basic idea across, but the six images did not show the level of detail and clarity one would want, to say with confidence, that one is putting it together correctly, but it is doable. Even on the paper instructions, they say, "It is recommended to use the installation video on the product purchase page." Given the advertised 310 pound capacity, I had to try at least 100 pounds. It did hold the dumbbells and weights, as you can see in the pictures, but my bike felt extremely unstable, and did tip over when I lost focus for a moment trying to take a picture from another angle. I recommend thinking very carefully about what happens when something causes you to lose your balance while riding, especially if you're planning to load over 50 pounds on it. You CAN do it, but is whatever you're transporting protected or resilient enough to handle a crash or a fall?

Great product and holds true but needs clear instructions
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I wanted to upgrade from my standard rack which only carried 55lbs and this upgrade said it can handle up to 300lbs. To be honest, Iโve carried up to 100lbs on this system and it still holds up very well! Works well: As stated above, with 100lbs on the carrier, it works very well. I recommend that you look at how you want to carry your stuff but also, add to this if all possible with a box carrier on top of the rack to offer more capabilities and it saves from carrying pannier but I like mine cause I carry my tools and water in them. Value for money: Excellent price and holds up very well! Hardware included: All the tools were included but thereโs no clear instructions on what goes where. Ease of installation: This part was honestly the hardest part. After installing the main piece, the rest became a guessing game. Once you figure it out, itโs not too hard but I recommend watching the video on here or on YouTube to understand what to do.

3-1/2 lbs of beefy bike rack
I keep breaking welds on my bike racks that can't stand up to the rattling of third world roads. They last less than a year. This is a completely different approach that uses lots of beefy, i.e heavy, hardware to bolt the pieces of the rack together in place of welding them. The result is a significantly larger capacity, at a cost of significant weight. Weighs 2 lbs more than the 1.5lb racks that keep breaking, nearly all of it being bolts and screws. Installation takes longer too as you are bolting together pieces that usually come welded together. The rack clamps on to your seat stays, and they include rubber gaskets to keep from scratching the bike. It was easy to avoid interfering with the exposed, bare rear shift cable. The hardware is first quality including locking bolts, design is well thought out, and they include all the tools you'll need and clear instructions. If it fails, I'll be back, if there's no update, you can assume it's still going. Update: 9 months later, it's still going strong. I didn't appreciate how much higher up this thing sits compared to other racks, about 6 inches higher. That means all the panniers that normally hit your heels when you pedal are out of the way with this thing. One thing of note: I kept checking and retightening all the bolts each month and lots of them needed tightening for the first two months as things settled into position. By month three everything remained tight. Update 18 months later - still going strong. Was told it was going to destroy my bike but I've had no issues with it. Update 22 months later - I bought an additional bike and bought another one of these. The reflector on the first one fell apart and the little fender unscrewed and fell off the first one, but other than those minor complaints, it's still a good rack and I bought it again for another bike.

Waste of money! Pieces become losse and wobbly!
Waste of money. Lasted about a few months and now it's became so wobbly that my new saddle bags are wearing out! It was a pain in the @$$ to put together too! None of the pieces would tighten with the stuff they gave. At this point I wish I would've saved my money for something else!.

Size
The rack was pretty great. But the bag was smaller than youโd expect.

Sturdy and well supported bike rack
This rack is very sturdy once installed. The aluminum frame feels solid and well-built, and it doesnโt flex much under load. I havenโt pushed anywhere near the advertised 310 lb capacity (and realistically most people wonโt), but it definitely inspires confidence when mounted properly. The adjustable mud flap is a nice addition and actually useful in wet conditions. The reflector is also larger than most and adds good visibility for night riding. My only real complaint is the paper instructions. Theyโre not terrible, but theyโre not very clear either. The directions do mention referring to the assembly video, which I didnโt do, so that may have helped. I was still able to get everything assembled without too much trouble. The only thing I forgot initially were the rubber guards, but they were easy to install afterward without taking everything apart. Overall, itโs a solid, sturdy rack with good features. If youโre patient during assembly and double-check the parts list, itโs a strong option for hauling panniers, bags, or a rear basket.

Saved my sons bike!!!!!!!!!!
Buy this!!!!! Some idiots stole my sonโs brand new bike, ripped all the brand decals off of it and spray painted it black. But they didnโt remove the rack!!!! We were able to track down the bike using the hidden AirTag and steal it back๐คฃ๐คฃ The bike is kinda ugly now, but the rack is still sturdy af!!!!

Best option if you use side bags on the rack
Just what I was looking for. I used one bag on each side of my previous rack, but their bottom corner kept hitting the tire because they are too wide for the rack. The extra frame on the back of this one eliminates that problem. I'm happy with my new rack

Very sturdy bike rack. Recommended
I bought this about a year ago. It comes with assembly instructions but they are not 100% clear. I was able to attach it without too much difficulty though. Since I started using the rack it has been very reliable and solid. Once attached it is very sturdy and fastens tightly to the bike frame. It's quite easy to attach the bag, and also works with side bags too, for when you want to carry larger items. The bag is good for small items, such as water bottles or small towels, and it comes with a rain cover in the small top pocket which is useful. Definitely recommended.
