Fantastic. Its so loud it hurts my ears. Simply pull the pin (with the nylon woven strap on) out, and to stop it, push it back in. Either operation is easy to do, but of course if attacked you would hold the pin, and the attacker would not.I want it to frighten off attacking dogs. I can well believe the claims that it will do that effectively.I think I will tie some nylon cord to the strap on the pin, and attach the other end to my belt with a spring clip, so I do not lose the pin.I think keeping it in a pocket inside a small cushioned camera case would ensure that the pin was not pulled by accident: you could leave it unzipped, provided the open end was upwards. Alternatively, wrap a thick rubber band around the device so the pin and strap are held close against it. Then only a very sharp pull will set the alarm off.

These alarms are super loud. The door exactly what it says on the box. I would recommend these two friends and family I purchased one for my friend as well.

This appears to be exactly what was advertised. Hopefully I never need to use it but it’s compact, tidy and on doing a test it is certainly very loud. Exactly what I want

This is my second alarm, and I think my first one must have been faulty because this one is extremely loud! Its uncomfortable to be around when you pull out the plug, which is exactly what you need!+ As a female, I feel a bit safer owning this. I took it to a camping festival.+ I like that there is a separate key chain to the pin plug.+ It's small and compact, nice colour.- I don't know what the function of the big button on the front labelled minder is as it doesn't add or do anything (is it for blind people?)- The instructions said it should have come with a paper pullout from the battery, (to preserve battery I'm guessing so it stays new), it didn't have this, but the alarm still works.Recommended, for peace of mind!

Product arrived before date. Compact and very easy to use. The noise would wake the dead so should attract attention if I every have to use it for self security

Loud and startling enough to draw attention and so cause an assailant(s) to back off. There is a larger one by Minder at 143db which is notably louder again but is a little bit more awkward to carry. This alarm is the more compact in version and is very portable, which my girlfriend prefers. Just remember to keep it somewhere within immediate reach such as attached to the side of a bag or in a jacket pocket, and escape to area with more people as quickly as possible. The alternative would be to spend three years learning martial arts and beat the c**p out of him. Probably better to run anyway.

I ordered 2 one pink for my partner and blue one for me. Unfortunately blue one does not work need a replacement one. But apart from that they both were delivered quickly and price was not too bad as well. Shame one turned to be faulty.

Loved the product. Took a little longer then I thought to get it.
