I've been using this for almost 1 year now as a cycling camera. I mainly use it like a dashcam, always running and able to capture any events that might happen to me while road cycling. I've used this every other day while commuting for work and it's never let me down. It's super clear and stable, even when using the ultra wide 155 degree fov. I've had no real problems capturing the license plates of cars passing by (at least in the day time). It makes me feel a lot more comfortable, knowing that if something were to happen to me on the road, it would all be captured. Especially if I ever need to make a claim on my cycling insurance. As good as these batteries have been (I usually get 140min run times at 1080x60fps with the screens off), I'm likely going to be upgrading them to the higher capacity ones introduced with the Action 5, instead of upgrading camera. Not much point upgrading in my opinion. This camera works perfectly well and the quality is superb. Larger batteries will always be welcomed, though. The battery case is also super nice. Nice and compact and holds all 3 of my batteries. Not only does it charge them. But it can also be used as a power bank to charge your phone in an emergency. The app is kind of alright too. Works well for downloading and viewing footage. Even with an almost full 256gb card, it doesnt take long at all to browse files over the wifi connection. My only issue is that it isnt on the google play store. Not a fan of the potential risks asociated with that, but you kind of have no other option, sadly. Even if you want to avoid it and only retrieve footage manually from the sd card. There'll be a time when you'll want to update the firmware for new features. And that's only possible with the mimo app. Other than that one complaint about the app, I honestly can't fault this camera. It's a great action cam and I'll be using it for the foreseeable future to give me peace of mind while out cycling.

I really like this action camera. After years of GoPro cameras the Action 4 is a breath of fresh air - streets ahead of the GoPro in terms of image quality and useability. I mainly use it to document motorcycle trips (the video below is a short 'first cut' I have on my phone). The Adventure combo gives plenty of battery life and the camera has survived torrential rain with no problems and rock solid reliability. Image quality is really good. I hope to upgrade to a newer model from DJI one day but for now the Action4 serves me very well.

Great value for money. Extensively researched action cameras before ordering this, and settled on The Action 4 as it got great reviews and beat the GoPro alternative in every review I saw. Picture quality is first class, and the electronic stability is amazing. Easy to use and is very intuitive once you get set up. I have a few DJI products and all are excellent, so was also attracted by my experience with the quality of any DJI products used before. Build quality is exceptional. As with most action cameras, low light quality is potentially and issue, so probably a good idea to look into a light for this. I was able to find a high quality and inexpensive aftermarket light, specifically made for this camera on Amazon and it’s a great addition. Sound quality from the on board camera is excellent, or it will easily work with most wireless USB C lavalier microphones with no setup required. Just plug in and go.

This video camera is brilliant. We bought it to capture our baby son's special moments without having to use our phones all the time for long videos and it's been great so far. It's easy to set up and easy to use. Love the fact you can see the image being recorded on front and back. 5 stars!

This little camera has been amazing. I got rid of the insta 360 as the image quality was too poor for the price. Yet this camera with battery pack is brilliant. I use it for my vlogging and home movies. Doesn’t fail. Nice and well built like all DJI products. We have a fair few of their products in the household. All of them are well made. What impressed me was it didn’t overheat in 42 degree weather. I expected like my previous GoPros to simply turn off but it kept on working. So far super impressed. The dji app also is great for editing videos and pics. Very similar to paid for services but theirs is free and included and more private than the insta360 well at least it feels that way. Once or twice I had this invalid file message pop up but it didn’t lose any files ever. They constantly update the camera so it’s expected and worked perfectly so I’m happy. To be honest I put it through its paces. With the 512gb usb it recorded for like 11hrs or something? The file sizes are often split into 30 mins each but this I think is to help with processing and stop over heating. Which works brilliant as a camera which switches off would be useless (cough GoPro). Oh those extra batteries are a lifesaver. It can also be charged very quickly from a wall or battery power bank. It’s probably lame but the selfie stick is excellent. It extends super long and is very sturdy. Looks like a ninja weapon lol. I wonder if I could use it and become a Donatello from TMNT?… seriously tho I love the stick. Very well made. Also it was super clear under water and didn’t miss a beat. Just remember to watch videos on how to use it and set it up properly and make sure you close the doors properly to keep them watertight. Cheers dji. Bring out the next amazing gadget.

The DJI Osmo Action 4 is a fantastic action camera that is tiny, rugged, versatile, and delivers better image quality than its predecessor. It packs more detail in challenging shooting environments, and has a wider field of view than the GoPro. The camera also has excellent stabilization and an incredibly convenient magnetic mounting. The Adventure Combo comes with two extra batteries and a charging case and charges really fast a protective cage, and a selfie stick, making it very easy to carry around and quickly capture events with ease , the DJI Mimo app works incredibly well and doesn't keep loosing connection like it does on my Gopro, I highly recommend the DJI Action 4

Great little camera .. is it worth the money ? Don’t know yet but it’s well made and the footage is great for all my needs .. I have made money back already filming so yeh unlike it it’s action pro level quality. Just make sure it fits your needs because dji have gimble cams that are also as good but maybe not as robust as this. 10/10 so far.

Whilst I am sure this is a great camera.. if you are an android user forget about buying this, googleplay have removed the app from the store that you need to activate the camera before it's use due to privacy issues.. osmo's answer to that is 1, completely disable all your androids security applications and settings and download the app through a third party.. or 2, buy a new phone (IOS) Support was terrible, I got a generic AI answer that ignored my issues, telling me to do all the steps I had listed when contacting them Camera is now being returned for a refund.. which is a shame as osmo do make really good cameras, and this one had all the features I was looking for in an action camera

Como usuario de un dron DJI no me ha sorprendido la gran calidad del vídeo, lo que es cierto en cualquier resolución (1080, 2,7K o 4K). La óptica aguanta bien el flare. Impresionante que haya un perfil de color de 10 bits, y un ajuste de reducción de ruido y de nitidez que graba en un perfil relativamente plano para editar mejor en post, si es lo buscado. Lo que me ha sorprendido también, pero no positivamente, es el gran tamaño de los archivos. Para que os hagáis una idea: salida de 70 min. grabando en 1080 y 60 fps: 27 GB. Salida de 39 min. grabando a 2,7K y 25 fps: 14 GB. Salida de 46 min. grabando en 4K y 24 fps: 29,5 GB. No hay mayor problema, excepto que en una micro-SD de 128 GB caben pocas excursiones. Si es el precio a pagar por la calidad del vídeo, bienvenido sea. La estabilización del metraje es sencillamente impresionante: no pestañea ni en descensos en bici a 40 km/h por caminos medio-rotos (cámara en el manillar). La autonomía es superior a cualquier cámara de acción que haya tenido anteriormente. El anclaje por imán / pestañas es rápido y fiable. He podido navegar por los menús y configurarlos sin mirar una sola vez el manual. El sistema operativo es muy intuitivo, y gracias a las dos pantallas táctiles, muy práctico de usar. Suelo empezar la grabación, terminarla, y apagar la cámara por comandos de voz, aunque sólo entiende inglés (start recording, stop recordig, shut down). Comodísimo. No la he probado en fotos. En resumen, estoy bastante impresionado. Son sólo tres salidas las que he hecho, pero ni un problema, ni una sola incomodidad o limitación. Se ve un producto "redondo", de calidad. No llego a imaginar de qué forma se podría mejorar esta cámara. No la puedo comparar con la Gopro 12 ya que no la he probado, pero estoy seguro de que quien compre esta Osmo 4 no se va a sentir decepcionado. Lo único que he echado en falta es un protector de lente. Por aquí se lo encuentra por unos 8 € (no de la marca). REVISIÓN AL CABO DE UN AÑO: Dejo intacto el comentario anterior. Se sobrecalienta fácilemente y deja de grabar, aunque no se pierde lo grabado hasta el fallo. Entre los 20 y los 40 minutos, en verano, en un trayecto de ascenso a baja velocidad por una colimna, aparece el fatídico 'Device overheathed. Recording stopped'. Y eso sucede a temperaturas entre 25 y 27 grados Celsius. Ese aspecto es frustrante y decepcionante. No sé si se ha resuelto en la Osmo 5. La configuración empleada es: 2.7F/4:3 25 fps. EIS: RockSteady (no +). MicroSD SanDisk Extreme PRO U3 V30. Firmware actualizado: 01.06.04.10. Me pasa algo parecido con el dron Mini 3 (sólo al hacer actualizaciones en interior). Debe hacer bastante frío en China...

N'en déplaise aux utilisateurs de GoPro, DJI et beaucoup plus avancé dans la qualité vidéo émise énormément sur le professionnalisme de ses caméras. On peut vraiment tout contrôler, j'ai choisi cette caméra, car malgré le fait que ce soit une caméra d'action, on peut avoir du log, et on a accès à absolument tous les paramètres (ISO, Ei, shutter, ips...). La caméra a également beaucoup d'accessoires, tout comme ses concurrentes. mais son gros avantage, et son attache aimanté, qui est extrêmement solide, et qui se met et s'enlève en une seconde. j'ai plus personnellement utilisé et testé cette caméra dans beaucoup de conditions, attaché sur une voiture roulant à très vive allure, sur des vélos, à ski, sous l'eau, dans des attractions, vous aurez des accessoires pour toutes les situations. La stabilisation de la caméra n'a absolument rien à envoyer à ses concurrents, l'expérience de DJI se retrouve vraiment dans cette caméra. La caméra est également super solide, comparé à certaines de ses concurrentes, et on sent que le produit est en produit finit, la caméra est belle, on a pas l'impression d'avoir un bout de plastique entre les mains. La caméra a une très bonne dynamique pour son gabarit (contraste entre les hautes et basses lumières), il y a un très bon traitement de l'image dans les basses lumière, ce qui vous permet facilement de filmer de nuit avec peu de lumière et de conserver une image utilisable. le nombre de pixels de la caméra, vous permet de pouvoir resserrer l'angle de vue, si la FOV vous paraît trop large, ou si vous voulez une focale plus serrée selon vos situations. Je vous recommande les yeux fermés cette caméra, vous ne la regretterez pas par rapport à ses concurrentes.
