Solid, well-made desk arm with a surprisingly heavy base that keeps it very stable. Took only a few minutes to set up and adjusting the arm is straightforward. My microphone stays exactly where I put it, with no movement once tightened. Clean design and feels like a quality product. Very happy with the purchase.

Yes a very sturdy stand for my Rode NT USB+. The stand that comes with the microphone is poor to say the least and if you’re going to put a stand with the microphone at least make it of sturdier plastic. I would recommend the DS2 and purchase it with the microphones that are compatible to avoid disappointment.

Sturdy and solid stand for my desk microphone. It's heavy base prevents my mic from moving about and clamps it strongly. You pay a hefty price for a quality product. Worth every penny.

I’m using the RØDE DS2 arm with my NT-USB Mini, and it’s doing its job really well. Probably the best desk stand I’ve ever got. Really well built, I use it with my Shute SM7b, no weight issues.Only thing is I wished they had incorporated a way of feeling the XLR cable to hide it; also just be mindful, just like other desk stands, the mic can pick up table sounds/vibrations. other than that, love it.

The RØDE DS2 Desktop Studio Arm is very well built and stable. It becomes unstable only if you move the microphone a long way off-centre (alway check the stability in any case) and that's because the microphone holder rises from one end of its reassuringly heavy base, rather than the middle. It's not the cheapest, but it's worth the money if you want to mount a high quality microphone (I use it for the Røde NT1 5th Generation microphone). Recommended.

Great desktop studio arm. It handles my Shure SM7dB with the Shure MVX2U. Obviously you can't extend this all the way out otherwise it will tip.I love the solid feel of the mostly metal construction. The adjustment knobs are metal and hefty. Easy to adjust and it stays in place.Other note is that the slots for cable management only fits USB-C. If you go the XLR route, it won't go through - I would probably just keep tidy by using zip ties or those velcro strap things for cable management.

I purchased the RØDE DS2 Desktop Studio Arm to use with my Rode PodMic USB, and it has been a fantastic addition to my setup. Due to limited desk space, I wasn't able to install a traditional boom arm, so the DS2 turned out to be the perfect alternative.The stand is extremely sturdy, with a heavy and well-balanced base that easily supports the weight of the PodMic USB without any wobbling or stability issues. The build quality is excellent, as expected from RØDE, and it keeps my microphone positioned exactly where I need it while maintaining a clean and professional-looking workspace.If you're looking for a compact, stable microphone mounting solution and don't have the space for a boom arm, I highly recommend the RØDE DS2.
