Resurrecting the Mysterious: Ingo Swann's "Great Lost Work"

This is such a great book! Having read many hundreds of esoteric books both western and eastern over the past 34 years, this one is certainly one of the best. On every page the authors gives either new knoledge or presnts "old" ones in a new and better way. This book inspires me to read his complete works thereafter.

Ingo Swann really could have used an editor. He is not a good writer. But what he has to say is valuable. My recommendation is to stay with it, read the entirety and keep the gems.

This book is definitely one of a kind in this sphere. Ingo's insight and explanations are incredible. Just as a tiny peak in all my years of studying Buddhism and meditation and practicing meditation, I never heard anyone explain what exactly a Buddha sees in nirvana until now.

I’m disappointed by this work. I have great respect for Ingo Swan and his psychic revelations; but, this work is convoluted, repetitive, confusing and incomplete. Too much time is spent “ clarifying “ words and terms used currently and compared to the ancients. Various psychic concepts overlap each other so much that no clarity is observed. I’m left with the conclusion that there is, in fact, NO clarification possible. Like Ingo said, you have to experience the psychic yourself to understand.

This author is uniquely qualified to write this book, and it shows. I thought I knew a lot about this topic, but but this book added many important details about the life of ingo swann.

This is for the Audible version. I was always going to get this for the subject matter, and I am prepared for it to be challenging. It is a long listen, so just a warning that the reader's inflection can be a bit off-putting. He has a frequent octave jump even in individual words, so it is wearing to listen for too long. I've tried different speeds, but I cannot find one that makes this easier. If this is a potential problem for someone, I recommend going with one of the text versions.
