The media could not be loaded. We got these to store natural spring drinking water in as our local city supply has fluoride. No chemical odor when removing cap. Extra non leak plug included if needed. I'll update as we will be storing on the side. 10 Gallons lasts two of us 8 days for drinking, cooking and pets. Great price compared to others - I did my research! Much less weight than glass jars. Easy to carry. Thank you!
