Our pine pollen is collected from the Masson Pine (aka Chinese Oil Pine). The Pine Pollen is collected from the mountainous regions of China in Yunnan province, from pristine and unpolluted locations. The pollen is wild-harvested then processed at very low temperatures to crack the cell wall of the pollen, producing a superior product that is over 99% digestible. Do the capsules have lower bioavailability than tincture?

Great question! but, the answer is a bit more complicated. The tincture is generally more potent, however, some nutrients - like Vitamin C - are more affected by the tincture process and are less potent in this form. Add to that the idea that herbs are more bioavailable if you taste them (powdered) before swallowing as that lets your body begin producing the necessary enzymes to absorb and you can see why this question is not as simple. Ultimately we generally suggest people who are focused on hormonal benefits to using the tincture, while those more focused on overall health use the powder or capsules. Capsules are for those who do not like the taste, are on the go or are looking for a more convenient method of ingestion.
