Since this is a real bullet, is that real lead in the hollow point? Don't know that I want to expose myself and family to any possible lead.

Yes , one round and the key chain is though a loop that's in the primer and nice and secure.

What brand it is? What does the engraving on the base say?

The headstamp on the bottom varies as these are previously fired shells. They will all indicate .45 caliber, but the brand may vary.
