As one who loves decorating and protecting his pickleball paddle edge, I must say that this product is the best on the market! It’s a lot stronger than others on the market and certainly better than 3M tape. If you’re interested in having your paddle protected from damage on the edging of your paddle, want your paddle to look great, this is what you need! Easy to install and easy to remove when the time comes, which will be up to you and not because the guards adhesive isn’t sticking anymore, it really holds to your paddle. Works great on 16mm paddles.

I should have purchased these before my daughter scuffed a new paddle. It was very easy to apply, sticks well, but I have only had on for 1 week. Will have to see if it peels off after a month or two of play. The thickness is good in my opinion, as we didn't want something super thick that would add weight. This does add a little bit of weight so you have to keep that in mind if you want a super light paddle. Overall, very happy with the look and fit of the paddle protector. Good value for 3 tapes.

Good protection if you scrap the ground and saves your paddle

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I specifically wanted a solid orange color. Most sellers don't carry orange. Stickiness: Here is the major problem I have with this. It doesn't stay attached to the paddle edge. It sticks on and in a few hours it starts to peel off, particularly around the edges. I suspect this is old stock? UPDATE! After being approached by the seller, who offered me a set of replacement guard tapes, I am happy to report that new ones are very sticky and stay put. Size: The size was good. ~ 29 7/8" by 1 1/16" Design: The design is good as there are cut outs to prevent bumps in the tape. Fit: The fit is good Weight: They are very light , no weight issue. Durability: It is a robust, thick tape.

One strip of the 23mmx760mm weighs 10 or 11 grams (my kitchen scale goes back and forth). Thats including the plastic cover that you peel away. So its probably closer to 10 grams rather than 11. That is quite significant. A lot of lead tape configurations are well under 10 grams total. So keep that in mind. But the little cut outs do their job perfectly. The thing holds up decently to sticking and unsticking a few times (but dont push down too hard). Also, line up the thing from the center. Dont start at one end and go all the way to the other, it will be assymetrical. The edge guard can handle being folded. Dont fold it super hard but you can fold it hard enough to leave a crease, and use that to align it on the center of the paddle. The little cuts make it easy to line up any lead tape. If you're ok to leave your lead tape on top of the edge guard

Initially, this tape was easy to install and felt high-quality. Unfortunately, several days later, the sawtooth edges are starting to come loose. Even though it seemed tightly glued at first, the edges are already lifting. Disappointed that the adhesive isn't more reliable.

I ordered this to extend the life of my old ProTech pickleball paddle. This product is much better than I expected. It was easy to determine what size to order, and there were a lot of colors to choose from to make my paddle look different than other people's paddles in the rotation rack. The tape is high quality and feels like leather. It's been on my paddle for 2 months and is still holding up. It was also easy to install. I have a new paddle on order and I plan to install edge guard when it arrives to save the edge from getting scraped up.
