6LBS 3-5mm Orange Indicating Desiccant Beads

I’ve been using this Fonday moisture-indicating silica gel in 3D-printed containers inside my Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro, and it has worked brilliantly. The indicator colour change from orange to green is clear and easy to see at a glance, so I always know when it’s time to recharge. It also changes colour from orange to green when it’s absorbed moisture, which makes it really easy to see when it’s time to recharge. 📦 Overall Simple, effective, and great value for keeping filament dry inside the AMS. Just what I wanted and the colour indicator works very well. Bought in order to try and combat condensation in my windows. I half fill microwaveable containers with the silica beads and leave in the window sills. Once they’ve turned green you can microwave on defrost setting for 10 minutes, which dries them out to be reused.

This item arrived on time and was well packaged. The beads themselves are a good size and are for use with my 3D printer filaments. I have used others but these are perfect as I just need to glance at them to know if I need to dry them or replace them. So far the results have been very positive. I would definitely recommend them and would buy again for sure.

Great stuff as you can see when the granules need to be changed and dried. Bought for my 3d printer filament but also use in my wardrobe to keep clothes staying fresh

Bought to go with my 3D printer's AMS and works great keeping humidity to 10%. Just check the colour occasionally and if green in colour, just microwave for 10mins and replace when cool. Well recommended.
