Bought to replace CLF energy saving which I found to be ugly, dull and took to long to brighten . I found the Led 4w Good value for 12, have used the 4w bulbs for the toilet light, bedrooms and hallway, very pleased with the amount and quality of light provided, just to mention all my light shades are made of clear glass so if you have closed in darker shades the output will seem less coming through and you may need a higher wattage. Look so much nicer then the CLF type bulb. Don't know how long they will last as just put them in ,but for the money I would buy again

Received in quick time and fitted the next day. The bulbs are fitted into a six bulb ceiling drop fitting in the middle stair well landing They give a nice warm effect and we are pleased with them. Hope they last as long as advertised . Shall probably purchase another six so the other lights fittings which hold three bulbs match the stair well fitting glow. Two units failed so I nitifi d the seller who refunded £3:50 I then had to purchase six more as they would not supply two more bulbs

I bought these for the last light fitting I have to change over from ordinary bulbs to LED ones. Our bedroom light takes three of these bayonet bulbs and had 40 watt bulbs there until one blew. These 4 watt LED ones give 40 watts of light, so the same amount for a lot less electricity. I have a lot of the SES type LEDs in other fittings and since installing them, have noticed a reduction in the overall cost of our electricity.. I am not getting any flickering, the warm white colour and the durability seems great. They are not meant for dimmable fittings, although my switches do not have a dim function. The functionality is good, although I can't comment on the lifespan at the moment, because they are new. Other such bulbs last at least a year though, so I expect these to do about the same. The current price is fair value for money, in my opinion, for a pack of six, well protected, bulbs. I don't know how long they will take to recoup the price via the reduction in electricity, however I am glad I have all LEDs now.

Just what I needed. The bulb kept cool which is what I needed as the ceiling light is made of wood.

Package arrived safely within 24 hours of ordering. I immediately fitted these bulbs to overhead light in my hallway and to 2 lamps in my sitting room. The brightness of these bulbs was instantly seen, showering beautiful rays of light onto the ceilings. These bulbs last 15,000 hours, works out to 625 days, which is huge value for money. As mine will not be on 24/7 it means they will last years. They are economical, using less energy, but shinning brightly. The filament design enables the bulb to shine more brighter. Highly recommend these energy saving bulbs that look stunning.

I’m all for getting good value for money but we all need to be convinced cheap bulbs are worth buying! I had to buy 14 LED bulbs for one room, to my disappointment they weren’t dimmable and on the packet it didn’t mention they weren’t.. so I had to buy another 14 and a better quality, for peace of mind, and they work fine. Please also look for the picture that shows the 2 contacts on the bottom of the bulb, my advice is don’t get round connectors as they don’t always connect the the pins in the socket!! always go for the oblong ones hope this helps..!
