Effective easy growing seeds
fantastically easy clover to grow. I literally did no watering, no tilling, no fertilizer. Just every other day spread seed through my yard, mixed in with grass. did 2 or 3 short mows, with heavier spreads those days. Same with any rain days, made sure to spread heavy while ground was still wet. 3 weeks in, and heavy grass areas are definitely taking longer, but any bare spots already have 50% coverage if not 75%. I'm sure another 3 weeks I'll be overflowing. If I tilled and removed grass, my yard would prob be at 50% coverage already.

Sprouted in 2 days. Great quality seeds.
We have had so many problems with our back yard garden. We have long strips of red mud and muddy banks on either side of our patio. Due to rain run off and flooding due to poor drainage in a ditch that runs behind our property we have been getting flooding. We fixed our flooding issue but not matter what we do we could not get grass to grow. I mean we have put down tons of seeds. And what little grass we do have looks pitiful and no amount of fertilizer helps it. So we decided to transform our entire back yard and muddy banks into a clover yard. I was so worried that they would not grow and would get washed away before they germinated. But in just 2 days we had 1in sprouts and now they are growing bigger everyday. These seeds are good quality and the coating I think gave them a better chance at germination. We got 100% growth from every seed. We planted the crimson clover on the muddy banks and along our kennel fence and walk way. Crimson clover grows fast and it is a beneficial winter food for wildlife. We planted european clover what you normally find in your yard in our main area of the back yard from the same company. I highly recommend these seeds. The best part about a clover yard is with a little patients you will turn your yard into a low maintenance no need for mowing wild life oasis. It feeds deer, rabbits bees and butterfly's clover yards along with planting native wild flowers will turn your yard into a wildlife sanctuary and you can enjoy the green all winter long depending on what zone you live in. We will be purchasing more to add to what is already growing. And the best part about clover is it puts nitrogen into the soil along with other nutrients and leaves the soil in a better condition than it was prior to you planting it. I would give them 4 thumbs up if I had two extra hands!

For high altitude in zone 5
This review is for Zone 5 at >9,500 feet in Colorado. This variety of clover needs temperatures over 60* to germinate. Because nighttime temperatures where I live donโt get close to that temperature until July, I initially thought this variety was going to fail. But after July, the seeds started to germinate, and by late August I saw the first blooms. By mid-September I had lovely crimson blossoms everywhereโthey filled in where the earlier-blooming wildflowers had started to die off. The elk, deer, and rabbits love it, so larger patches I planted never bloomed because the animals kept it cropped. But areas where the seeds were sparsely intermixed with wildflowers, the crimson clover has flourished, and the hummingbirds love them. I docked one star because I contacted the company after re-seeding in the spring with no plants coming up, and they never responded to my inquiry. The product gets 5 stars, the company gets 2.

Wish it could have been 5 stars but Plan to buy ALOT more than you think you need
This is so hard to write because I really want to give it 5 stars because the seeds that did sprout are fantastic! But Iโve had to buy 5 bags (3 5-lb and 2 10-lb) pl because they sprouted in patches and it left so many bare spots Iโve had to go back in and fill those in multiple times. Itโs only 3700 sq ft of space Iโm planting it in.

Great Germination, Healthy Growth
Frost seed planted this stuff with fantastic results in late June. Deer are munching on it and this product had great germination. Will be buying again next spring.

Red NOT.
3 month update: Terrible. I've seeded over 20 pounds on my front lawn. It has been almost 3 months and not a single red flower yet. I started in early spring and it's almost summer now. While the germination rate is great, the viability is terrible. Over 90% of new plants has died. I live in north NJ, so I'm not talking about scorching temperatures. 2 month update: It has been about 2 months since the seeding, so might as well review the seeds. Germination rate is great. Viability is OK. We had a 3 day streak of 90+ degree weather and a lot of the new plants died. Not all, maybe about quarter. And that was in early spring. Heat will get much worse in summer. The biggest problem, the flowers are NOT red. Most of them are white with some being the faintest shade of red. If I could I would definitely return the seeds. But I can't. At least I can give them a negative review. If looking for crimson red clover, look elsewhere.

Very pretty
I sprinkled them on my lawn, and was told some of my neighbors were stealing the dead heads to plant their own.

Annual
Certainly not micro. Great profuse clover. Understood to be annual. Not perennial.

Great crop cover to add nitrogen
I had no issue with other seeds being mixed in. The clover seeds are fresh and quickly sprouted. Very happy with purchase.

Shouted and died.
Crap seed. Nothing grew.

Itโs mixed seed !
Large print makes you believe itโs just clover seed but, itโs mixed hay and clover . Other wise the clover grew great. Sadly also with other things when I just wanted clover .
