Picked this up for my plant setup and it’s usable, but just know what you’re getting. I actually weighed the contents 1.7 dry and 1.5 lbs after washing, there was a good amount of dirt and sand mixed in with the rocks. Out of the bag, the stones looked pretty dull. After a few rinses and straining, they cleaned up nicely and actually looked a lot better. Quick tip: don’t rinse this in your sink. That dirt and sand will build up and clog your pipes fast. Use a bucket or rinse outside. Once cleaned, they get the job done. Just expect a little prep work upfront.

Works great for my plants with smaller roots. I rehabbed an alocasia polly after root rot and zero roots left in water with vitamins then repotted in this and the stems are thick, healthy and its growing! I was sure she was a gonner. I have my other alocasia and propagated begonia in it and they are doing great!!

I’m using this for my dwarf jade bonsai. I don’t really have a clue when it comes to plants but I’ve kept this guy alive for over a year now and just recently saw mold in the last soil it was in. I bought this because of what Google and Reddit recommended and will update if my beloved bonsai dies. Overall, the rocks are very pretty and very easy to handle. No mess.

Exactly as advertised. I recommend rinsing the rocks before adding to anything. It’s going to be used for my lithops and succulents and as a top dressing for my potted plants. The rocks will be dusty and dull due to transport and packaging, however once they are clean, the color is beautiful. A good mix of different types of rocks and sand. Will be purchasing again.

These look beautiful in the pots and allows drainage which is important for succulents, I record these.

2 pound bag was smaller than i had anticipated. Will work fine for doing a few small pots.

This is the first time I’ve ever used this kind of P gravel for bonsai. I’m hoping it works out fine. I tried it and we’ll see what happens. No problem so far.
