Exactly what I needed
I am an ESE teacher and many of my students struggle to verbally communicate their academic needs due to past classroom experiences (teacher reactions, bullying, etc.). I had made something similar in the past but wanted something sturdier for the new school year, which these are! Very excited to be implementing this version in my classroom in a few weeks!

Students live them
My students like these. I teach middle school and they seem to help a lot. My students like them because they feel like they’re able to tell me if they’re “getting it”, and they seem to take pride in flipping from red to yellow to green as they understand what we’re doing. They aren’t made of the sturdiest of materials, but the immediate feedback makes them worth it.
