This lightweight steam iron is a little powerhouse. The steam is quiet and consistent and the plate glides smoothly over synthetic and blue jeans. It sure beats my heavier iron of the past 20 years. The price is very reasonable and the retractable cord is an added bonus. Overall, a good iron for a reasonable price.

Honestly, just used it today. And I'm loving it. I have no idea how to iron, this is my first official one, but I've had no issues with removing my wrinkles despite my poor technique. I really like that the iron stays hot. And it makes nice, clean, crisp lines. Instead of using the steam option, I recommend spraying clothes with a spray bottle, and that helps remove the wrinkles better.

My wife irons every day, our higher end iron failed after 4 years and we needed an new iron quickly. I decided to go with this cheaper more basic. iron because it would come quickly and be a backup for a more expensive model if it turned out she didn't like it. Well, so far, we love it, and here is why. It came super fast, ordered in the afternoon, had it by 6AM the next morning. It is a good looking iron and also is much lighter than the old one. 1.25 pounds vs 2.75 not including the cord on either one. This is a big deal when ironing for hours. She said she had gotten used to the weight before but appreciates how much lighter and easier this is to use. This iron has a simple dial to set the heat, it is easy to set and heats up quickly. The steam works great, my wife says it irons edges perfectly that she used to have to use a puff of steam to flatten properly. It's steams nicely and the controls for steam puff and spray are well positioned and work great. Another detail that she likes is the water tank is easy to see, the old one was dark and hard to see, this one is apparent at a glance, very helpful. Bottom line, sometimes simple, lightweight, well thought out irons do the best job. The engineers were listening. I'll update as to the reliability, we use distilled water always and these irons all seem to last a long time.

The iron works for the most part: it gets hot so I can iron my clothes, however, the steam part doesn’t work well: every time I try to use the steam function the iron leaks water so I get big water spots on clothes I am trying to iron. I don’t use the steam functionality anymore, now I use ironing spray instead.

This iron works very well and heats up quickly. It removes wrinkles easily and glides smoothly over different fabrics. The steam function is strong and helps get tougher wrinkles out without much effort. And it doesn't constantly drip water onto the clothes I am pressing! It’s also lightweight and easy to handle, which makes ironing less of a chore. Overall, a reliable and affordable iron that gets the job done.

This is the WORST iron EVER. OR it was defective and had been returned by someone else and then resold to me in what is turning out to be an all the time thing on Amazon over the past year. I can't count the number of OBVIOUSLY RETURNED items that are the sold to me as though they were new!! I know it is happening to lots of people with lots of products. I am SOOOOO sick of it!! What is the main reason people return things (other than perhaps clothes that just are the wrong size or something is not as expected)?? BECAUSE THE ITEM is JUNK or DEFEECTIVE! Why does it get sold again?!?!? If this was not a return, then it is ABSOLUTE 100% JUNK! I had it for a couple of months before I opened the box to use it. Went to use it last evening for the first time to iron my son's GRADUATION GOWN and it wouldn't get hot on the lower settings - I mean like NOT EVEN A LITTLE HOT and I kept turning it up and up way past where it should have been for synthetic fabric/way past where the dial showed it should be for synthetic fabric AND IT STILL DIDN'T take any wrinkles out! SO......I put some water in it and figured I would steam it and get better results..... I made sure to use distilled water and was very careful not to overfill the water reservoir. IT LITERALLY sprayed blobs of water everywhere when trying to use the steam and began straight up just LEAKING WATER seemingly from everywhere - down the front of the iron included. TOTAL GARBAGE and since I didn't open it to use it til well past the return window, too bad for me. It's in the trash!

The face of the iron has a smooth finish and of great quality that prevents clothes fine sticking and it does not overheat

This iron works really well, it gets hot, stays hot, gets out wrinkles well. Some reviews complained about the automatic wire part, it does sometimes get stuck while retracting but it’s easy to adjust the wire quickly, press the button again and it works fine. It’s not enough of an issue for me to not buy this

Su base es muy antiadherente, no se le pega nada. El cable retráctil te ayuda a que ahorres espacio y no tengas que enrollarlo en la plancha o tengas que dejarlo suelto. El rocío es muy bueno y la función de vapor realmente te ayuda con el cuidado de tus prendas.

Stopped working after 1 month & drips rusty water on clothes. Rubbish.

Excellent stainless face, smooth movement on garments. Effortlessly ironed several shirts and other garments, and no fatigue at felt at the end of the pile. The retractable cord is a game changer. I hate having to wrap up chords as it usually results in damaging them. With this unit, you just push a button and the chord is gone. The quoted heat up time is very accurate, I barely have time to get the garment ready and the steam is pouring out and the face is hot and ready. For the price of this unit, I will put it up against units at 4 times the price. TRY IT , YOU WILL LIKE IT.

Item was fantastic but now it doesnt heat up at all. Very disappointing as I loved the function with the lead ceiling in to the base.
