These helped my eyes get better within just a couple minutes max, lasted at least a few hours. It does sting a ting bit when putting in but as would most other eye drops I have used in the past, it calms down after a moment. if really struggling i suggest rinsing eyes out first then putting in the eyedrops to get rid of any lingering pollen
