Great quality and solidly built
You may find these a little cheaper elsewhere but the quality of these can't be beat. They plug in solidly and have a very high quality feel.

Great value
Worked perfectly for my application at half the price

Excellent buy!
Mfg and materials are good enough for permanent builds and every piece was accounted for. USPS again caused very late delivery!

Does not work for the Inversion purpose with standard Null connection
I tried it many times but did not work as expected

Works in a pinch
I used these to connect two female wire harnesses I built. They work well enough in a pinch. The one thing I don't like about them is that they don't tighten down all the way, leaving the connector a little loose. It doesn't seem to effect the connection of the pins but it would make me feel a little bit better about it if I could snug them down all the way.

Completely useless. Improperly constructed. Fell apart - see photo.
IMPROPERLY MADE. So BAD I HAD TO LAUGH WHEN IT FELL APART - SEE PHOTO.I need RS232 Female-Female Gender changers for a project to connect devices with a serial RS232 console to my laptop using a RS232 to USB adapter cable. The adapter cables and the console devices are DB9 Male. The serial console device has the two threaded hex bolts on each side. This is completely normal situation. In order to connect the Mini Gender changer, I had to remove the two hex bolts on the sides. When I did, the mini gender changer completely fell apart. I was so shocked that I thought there must be a camera hidden somewhere to get my reaction. I've used many such gender changers with the side bolts removed and they never fell apart. My advice is to avoid this product and any that look like they are constructed in this manner. I am going to the local electronics shop where I know the quality is good.

Flawed Design
Using this to go from a cable witha male port to a device with a male port is, well, problematic. In theory, that's EXACTLY what this device is made for. In practice, not so much. It's held together by the mount screws that are on the sides of it. And those obstruct this device from being plugged together with any device that also has mount screws beside the port - which every single device that has a port has.If you remove the obstructing screws, this part will simply fall into pieces. They are the ONLY thing holding it together. Obviously the design solution is to replace them with nonprotruding versions. For the end user, unless you have those sitting around, don't buy this because you can't use it, even carefully without something holding it together. I tried with the screws out to put this in place for a single one time use and it stayed together until I removed it from a device - then parts, including the tiny little pins that form the connections, fell all over and I never found the last 2 pins.I *think* I'll be able to dig through my own collection of computer screws and rebuild one of these into something I can use to get the job done. But I'd have never bought it if I knew how much hassle I was getting. I wanted this FOR a project, not to BE a project. It WILL work, but only in very limited circumstances.

The two partsshould’ve been glued together
The nuts got in the way of mating on this male plug. I removed the nuts and it fell apart. It should’ve been glued together I ruined three of them already.I ordered a male plug and when you take the nuts off the mail plug it does not fall apart
