Comfy
They go on very easy and feel great.

Not a lot of padding
The velcro is very strong but the stitching is terrible, and on the inner part of the velcro there is already stitches coming apart. The cushion/padding is less than what I was expecting, as the photo seemed to show a lot of padding. The padding doesn't feel cushion-y enough, either.

Very comfortable!!
The pads that originally came with my carrier were pretty thin in both width and padding. I switched to the ones from an older vest but still wasn't comfortable. These bad boys, these are comfortable!! They are easily twice the padding and probably twice the width as well. I have a broken collar bone (for about 20 years now) so if i get pressure on the right point, it becomes very unpleasant. But these pads bridge the whole top of my shoulder nicley and cause ZERO discomfort through at least 4 hours so far. Would recommend!
