is there an attachment sold separately if i would alternate this on hard hat and without a hard hat?

Will these still allow you to attach a welding hood or a face shield?

They attach by clipping into the slots on each side of the hard hat. So anything that needs to use those slots won't be able to be uses with these muffs.
