This is a great book that helped me to finally understand my financial statements by sitting me down and making me work out the numbers. It felt like Dr. Woods was sitting next to me the whole time and guiding me. He writing style and language is easy to understand and to the point. I read the original Profit First book, but it was not dental focused and I had questions that it didn't answer. This book gives practical advice from a seasoned dentist who shares the real life struggles and solutions of practice ownership. I highly recommend this book!

This may be the first businesses book I have actually finished! This is a must read for dentists who are struggling to understand their business or can’t make the numbers work each month. Julie helped me set up Profit First for my office two years ago. Before I did this there were many weeks that I could not pay myself. Since setting this up I have not missed a single paycheck. It helped me understand where my expenses were too high. She explains things in a simple, straightforward way that is easy to understand.

Excellent book to help dental practice owners navigate the sea of expenses that bog down the practice of dentistry. This book is well-written and easy to understand. Could help a novice or experienced dentist make dental practice finances simple and realistic.

I wish this book was written when I started dentistry. It is well written and full of very useful information on the business and number part of a dental business. If I had this knowledge starting out it would have been a game changer. I’m happy to have this book now for reference to make sure I’m doing everything I can to be profitable.

This was a great book specific for Dental practice owners. Easy to follow, and excited to implement profit first planning into my practice. If you use quickbooks it will be easy to find the information you need to know the health of your practice. I’m excited to work smarter and not harder!! Thanks Julie Woods for writing this book

It feel like Julie is sitting next to you explaining profit first in terms you can understand.Once you implement her program, see how you can increase the value of your practice and increase your profit and enjoy dentistry more!

This book is a must read for dentists to really get the facts on how to become more profitable. Even if you don’t own a practice it’s a good resource for future planning. If you are wondering why your accountant seems to speak another language, this book explains it all.

It is a comprehensive yet not complicated book on how to manage your practice ( or any business) finances. I started doing whatever it stated as soon as I finished the book and i can see that it makes sense. If you want to declutter the finances, this is the book to follow.
