My larger ingot molds were just to big for some of the projects I was looking at, so I picked up this 4-pack of small disk/coin molds. They have a good surface finish with no visible porosity on the internal surface and the casts drop free once they're cooled off a bit.

I buy Britannia in 2kg ingots. These ingots are hard to handle in my small furnace. I idea is to recast the 2 kg Britannia in small ingots. These ingot molds work great other than being a little difficult removing the casting from the ingot mold. There is not enough draft angle in the graphite ingot mold to allow for an easy release of the casting. I would guess that is I where to wait until the ingot mold and casting were at room temperature the casting would fall out. That just take too much time.
