Legitimately Nice All Around, Except That The Neck Wrap Fastener Triggers My Headaches.
I’ve been using Castor Oil daily for several years, and I’m in love with the tremendous results I’ve personally observed. Just in the past few months, I’ve integrated Castor Oil packs into my nightly sleeping routine, alternating between waist wraps and neck wraps. It’s awesome that this set includes both types of wrap in addition to a 60ml (2.02 fl. oz.) bottle of Castor Oil, so you’ll be all set to get started. I like to have multiple packs on hand in different colors, because that’s just how I am.The delightful, Jamaican Black Castor Oil is cold-pressed, which is what you should look for if you intend to enjoy all the benefits of Castor Oil. On this here product page, this Castor Oil is said to be organic, but I am unable to find any further indication of that on its packaging. It is enclosed within an amber-colored, glass bottle with a glass dropper lid that seals securely. In comparison to my Castor Oil of choice, this one is particularly thin, and it has a common, nutty scent that new Castor Oil users might not appreciate at first. An eyeliner brush and a mascara-type brush are included for applying the Castor Oil to your eyelashes and eyebrows, which is done to promote healthy growth. For the same reason, I like to work it into my scalp using my fingertips, but since my hair looks extremely greasy after doing so, I always wash it out before styling it. First and foremost, I use Castor Oil as a facial moisturizer applied sparingly during the day (with this specific, thin Castor Oil, doing so is easy) and thickly before bed, especially copiously around the eyes. Finally, Castor Oil is also my favorite carrier oil with which to dilute essential oils. When I put it on the inside of these wraps, I’m exceedingly generous with it, since I like to use the wraps for a good long time before washing them out, storing them rolled up and packed tightly inside a mason jar when not in use. To launder these wraps, I first soak them for a few hours in baking soda and water, and then I put them in garment bags and wash them with gentle detergent on the cold, delicate cycle with my other delicates. Finally, I hang them or lay them flat to dry.The neck wrap is almost exactly the same as every other neck wrap I’ve tried. The material is wonderfully soft and comfortable, and it holds the Castor Oil in nicely, making certain that no Castor Oil is transferred unintentionally to other materials or simply wasted. If you have a long neck, the wrap will likely cover most if not all of it; unfortunately though, if your neck is shorter, the wrap will probably become quite bunched up, which is not ideal. The biggest flaw of this whole kit is the fastener on the neck wrap. Like every single other one I’ve tried, it fastens in the back using a hard, plastic mechanism. When sleeping on my back (which I try very much to do), this hard nub is often extremely uncomfortable, poking mercilessly into the back of my head and neck, even triggering headaches. The waist wrap is the same delightfully soft material as the neck wrap, so it’s extremely comfortable. It has a zipper pouch on the front for placing your own cold or hot pack (not included) inside if you wish. Most of the time, I add no such inserts, but they do help greatly with cramping or other abdominal pain when needed. On my petite and thin frame, this waist wrap is large enough to cover my entire abdomen and sides when aligned directly in front. It fastens nicely using two, very stretchy elastic straps. These straps are very long, so they can easily accommodate a wide range of tummy sizes, and they have button holes along the entire length so as to latch them onto the buttons on the side of the wrap. On both wraps, the stitching looks quite good.Overall, I do very much like this kit, but more than anything, I want to see the design of the neck wrap fastener be re-worked into something more comfortable.

It fits XL
I have tried several castor oil wraps and this is my favorite. Two others were advertised as fitting most sizes and they did not fit my XL/18 sized waist. This one did. It most likely will fit a 1x waist, but might not a 2x.The elastic is comfortable. It reminds me of the adjustable fit pants that my kids wore as toddlers- the elastic with button holes down the length. The castor oil comes in a glass jar with a squeeze-dropper top. The dropper was good for applying the castor oil in small amounts. for the waist wrap- pouring was more efficient. The reason to keep the oil from the edges is wicking. The oil can wick through the stitching on the edges. If the oil is kept from the edges you do not have issues. This is very similar to cloth diapering. The wrap is very soft and comfortable to wear. The instructions suggest washing before use. I have delicate skin and some chemicals in fabrics used during manufacturing or commercial cleaning of clothes bother my skin (some starches for example). I felt it in this wrap. After washing, I had no issues.

Comfortable But Narrow
This wrap is soft and comfortable as described but not very wide. If you're on the larger side this may not provide the necessary amount of coverage. However, if that's not a concern, the Jamaican castor oil is what makes this a good purchase because other sellers either omit it altogether or include a generic brand.

Good set of oil and reusable compress
Good set of Castor oil and wrap. To be honest i'm more impressed with the castor oil than the wrap, but that's just me. The castor oil is Jamaican Black Castor oil, which is more alkaline than regular castor oil, so it's a more pleasant experience on the skin.

Includes the oil! Works as expected!
This is a standard set of castor oil wraps, large one for stomach, back, etc. small one for neck. It has the zipper pocket if you want to place a hot or cold pack (not included) in it. I love that this comes with the castor oil, most sets don't and for some reason a lot of sellers are completely sold out! So this is a great bonus!Be sure and wash the wrap before using so it absorbs the oil better. I just washed it out by hand and hung up to dry. It doesn't take much oil, a couple of tablespoons at most. You aren't saturating the entire wrap, just the area you plan to cover, like the liver. It's fairly comfortable but I didn't sleep in it over night. I wore for an hour before bed and then removed it. Castor Oil has so many benefits! I'm going to try this wrap on my leg that has some torn tendons. I've read it could help with that also! Most people use it to help with lymphatic drainage and detox. If you are unsure about what to use this for just do a search and you'll find lots of info! Thanks for reading, I hope this was helpful!
