Perfect shredder for the home especially since the it’s a good value for what you get. It doesn’t hold a lot but enough to where if you’re just shredding mail you probably only need to dump it out every three weeks. It cuts strips and can do about five sheets without clogging or jamming so it has enough power to do that. It never jammed so I’m happy with it.

This paper shredder was just the right size I needed for my small apartment. The instructions and functions of use were clearly written in the manual provided. The machine has safety features and instructions and will shred up to 8 regular sheets of paper with ease and no jamming so far. The CD/DVD slot works great. I purchased sharpening and lubricant sheets to maintain the shredder functioning in tip top shape. I'm happy with this quality shredder and highly recommend it.

I purchased this shredded because if accumulated documents for yrs .. it was time to clean house! My intention with this particular shredder was to get rid of all the unnecessary clutter and organized what remained. The paper bin itself is not large at all it's suitable for random shredding but for continual use it's probably not ideal. That being said, in spite of having to unload the collection bucket every 5 minutes, I must say that the speed and functionality allowed the process to go smoothly. As I said I've had a lot of documents so any bin at this point probably wouldn't have sufficed but it's definitely a large volume of paper. Nevertheless ,has not overheated and has not jammed not once. its brought me peace or sorts lol ..I like the size because it doesn't take much room and you can hear the strength behind it. My suggestions are do not overload it if you can do under eight pages even better it'll go by super quick and we'll shred it much easily. This is more ideal for desk / home office use since it's for sporadic or daily use without a large amount being processed. Overall I must say I highly recommend it for price, delivery time, ( I ordered it last night and it was here at like 9:00 in the morning), the speed, the quality, the size and color blends right in! 👍 Please do know I have not tried the CD option yet. This inexpensive (about $32) BONSAI STRIPCUT SHREDDER really does destroy CDs efficiently. I had about 200 very old CDROMs and DVD-Rs containing backups that I could no longer read, because my current PC doesn't even have a CD drive. This little gem cuts them into three wide strips (see photo of center strip), which isn't sufficient shredding if you're a cryptocurrency billionaire, but is enough for an average household. I make my scraps a bit more secure by mixing them with unpleasant stuff in the household trash. The shredder easily handled a dozen discs at a stretch, fed one at a time, without overheating. I spaced out my sessions because I've broken a lot of shredders by working them too long and hard. In fact, I've dulled the blades of a powerful crosscut shredder by feeding too many CDs, so that it no longer shreds them at all. This little gem solved my disposal problem, when it was out of the question to try to cut up so many discs by hand.

Love this shredder and versatility. Wish the container was taller so that you don't have to empty as often.

This is my second shredder as I destroyed the 1st one of same brand name. It worked great until the severe clog took place and attempting to remove the clogging didn't help; guess I burned up the motor before realizing it was clogged up. Eight pages is a lot of paper to shred at one time using this shredder and I didn't want to risk the same situation after learning my lesson. I only used two sheets at a time and put it through and the shredder accepted it with no problem. I did tear off any staples attached prior to shredding to be safe this time around and the light stayed green while using it. I had a lot to shred up after cleaning out last years old files, so it got a good workout. Just make certain the shredder container is emptied as soon as you notice the strips coming to surface as it could get caught back up in the shredder and cause a clog. I did enjoy working with the shredder and did not experience any woes as the 1st time around, so I'd say any issues I experienced was of my own making. It is noisy, but I can handle that. It did what it's suppose to do w/o any complications. The shredder also is lightweight enough to carry and work with in any area. I chose the kitchen so I could easily sweet up any paper shreds. Another nice thing about using a paper shredder is paper burns faster and is easy to ignite helping a fire get started and burn much faster; especially during the winter months standing in the cold weather. In a zone free country lifestyle, we can burn our paper which aids in using less landfill space and we have glass, metal etc., to dispose of. We never leave a fire unattended while burning. I would also suggest not to shred any papers that have sticky glue, sticky labels or that rubbery type that allows other paper to stick to, just to make sure the paper doesn't gum up the shredder. Having treated the shredder responsibly will allow it to work well and be a good investment for a long time.

Paper Shredder⭐⭐⭐ (3/5 Stars - Compact Design, Low volume) I got the shredder for a small home office. Overall, I have mixed feelings about this machine. The Good: Variety of items to shred: The shredder allows paper, CDs, envelopes, and credit cards. Compact Design: It's compact and relatively quiet compared to older shredders. To remove paper inside, you can easily remove the top lid. The Bad: Severe Jamming Issues: Despite being rated for 8 sheets, this machine jams constantly when feeding only 5 or 6 pages. This forces immediate use of the reverse function and manual paper removal. Overheating: The frequent jamming causes the unit to stop entirely until paper is cleared. Even a small stack of papers becomes a prolonged task due to having to keep clearing the shredder. Shredding Mess: When jams occur or the bin gets full, long, un-shredded strips of paper hang from the cutting head, creating a messy cleanup. Verdict: A decent shredder if you need to shred 1-2 sheets at a time, but its poor capacity makes it frustrating for moderate volume shredding.

Surprisingly this works great and is doing better job shredding docs than a much more expensive paper shredder I bought from an Office supply store that died after paper got jammed up ! This one is still working hasn’t got jammed up even after all the gazillion old papers I’ve stuffed in it :-) definitely recommend it.

Para uso domestico sirve mas que perfecto, tritura varias hojas, sobres, carpetas, tarjetas y mas, personalmente nunca se ha sobrecalentado cuando lo uso, lo que es bueno ya que pensé que tendría que hacer pausas continuas mientras trituraba pero no es mi caso. Quizás el único "problema" es que el bote se llena rápidamente, pero por el precio me pareció un excelente producto.

The seller was very quick and kindly refunded my money when it was discovered the shredder wasn't designed for Australian 240V AC power. Due to their good service, I would definitely purchase another product from them.

No more noisy than our last one. Handles several sheets at a time well. Viewing window helpful to see when to empty the container. Container is somewhat small.
