I don't want to spray the whole yard with weed and feed for weeds. I want to keep my little bit of clover, and don't want the chemical blowback from a hose end sprayer. My first gardening attempt seems to be a weed farm. This product was a good choice. This product aims to protect surrounding plants. It does it a little too well. The pinpoint spray doesn't get the whole weed. A weed clump will only have a narrow dead spot. I just need to practice. It would be nice if it had a temporary color so I could see the application. I can't bend to dig weeds because of my dramatic, to me, multi-level spinal fusion. I wrecked something pulling weeds bending from a low stool for a few hours. It's better after 5 weeks, but...chemicals and long handle weeders for me. (Take care of your back. Learn proper weight lifting)

I have been using this product for a few summers now and it definitely has been a lifesaver to my yard. I sometimes have read things about round up and got a little nervous but this product truly helps get rid of all the bad weeds. I love to really do a big spray of everything early in the spring and then use it a little bit each week throughout the rest of the warmer months just to keep the weeds under control. They dry up quickly and there’s a noticeable difference within a few hours.

very useful in my garden

I’ve used roundup for years but always with a small quart bottle that I would refill with roundup concentrate. I decided to give the gallon a try and not have to refill the quart spray bottle as often. To my surprise the sprayer is battery operated. (The description doesn’t indicate it is battery operated) As long as all switches are turned to on, when the sprayer is pushed on the blue wand, solution will come out. It makes the process of spraying weeds in my flower beds go that much quicker. The shield at the end of the wand made spraying close to plants less of a challenge.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have used many of these sprayers and they distribute the product under the plastic dome. However this one shoots a strong stream wasting product causing the user to apply in a fan motion to treat the desired area. Sprayer: No as good as previous versions.

RTU, easy peezy to set up and use. Battery operated. No hand fatigue, no excessive bending. Love the deflector on the spray nozzle. Works fast.

Kills weeds and grass

Roundup works pretty well against weeds. The dispenser shield is a great addition for safety. My experience is that when I was about 3/4 done with the gallon container, the dispenser just stopped working, making the 1/4 that was left unusable. Yes, I did check to make sure that both stop-cocks were in the on position. The dispenser is just of mediocre quality.
