Tape Measure, Compact Easy Grip, 25 FT (CMHT37443S)

Very good, easy grip definitely works well with the rubberized surface, and otherwise it's just a solid tape measure. Locks well, pulls out well without too much effort and retracts beautifully as well. However, if you are going to rubberized so much of the surface, why not go that one extra step and add a a rubber piece to the end of the belt clip? There's just a sharp metal edge poking out of the otherwise soft exterior of the tape measure, so I always had to be extra careful not to lay the side with the belt clip down in case I damage any surfaces. No stars off since you can easily fix this with some tape or by removing it completely, but it's just a strange exclusion otherwise.

This is a really good tape. I like it because it extends out far. It doesn’t crack like most tapes when you’re trying to extend it. I would get it again.

As a Millwright in Canada these are fantastic, easy to read, clean, and the fraction measurements in imperial are super helpful. I’ve used Stanley’s, Lufkins, dewalt, Irwin, all the name brands, and this is by far my favourite. Cabinetmaker by trade and building my own home, so I like that it’s 30ft rather than 25. Being that it’s longer you would think it’s much heavier but it’s very comfortable on the waist, nice strong tape with increments on one side and lines on the other which is nice too. I bought one a while ago and just ordered two more. Great buy
