My 10 year old son loved it and he said that it was one of the best lego sets he ever built. He thought it was really interesting and cool. My son loved the exploding mine and knocking the gold off the mine with the crusher.

My son loved it!
I asked my 10 year old son what he thought of this set. He said, "I absolutely love it...it's great!" I guess that is what matters the most. It was impressive. He did assemble it pretty quickly, so I would say the skill level was moderate for someone who has been doing Legos since they were little.

Awesome set!
Bought this for our son (9 years old) for Christmas. It’s an amazing set and we really love it. Can’t go wrong with LEGO, love the new sets they come up with!

The kit entranced our 5 year old grandson while building it and he enjoys knocking down gold nuggets with the continuous miner.Exploding mountain is clever. Great toy for the junior to be mining engineer.

Lego Fun
I can't believe the creativity and thought that goes into brainstorming Lego kits, but more importantly the creativity and thought that goes into building the sets. My nephews spent hours building this one, paying special attention to the smaller details and contents. Definitely worth it.
